Why do you play destiny if you don't raid?
Everyone complains about the raid and say they don't even bother with it for one reason or another...
So why do you even stick around if you don't go for endgame loot? I'm just curious what you guys do if you don't do any raids.

1 ReplyAfter reading most of the replies, "looks like Bungie is gonna nerf ToO/IB loot next" I Raid very rarely. I just like running around shooting stuff. I pvp sometimes, im not very good at it though. To be honest, this DLCs Raid gear is pretty bad compared to the Y1 stuff. No real incentive, just for the Light isnt enough motivation.

For fun, I do raid occasionally but it isn't a priority for me. Iron banner is good fun and I am gonna get back into trials too. Love messing about with weapons in PvE as well.

I raid but in 1 iron banner period I got better lot than I 3-4 hard mode raids

Trials of osiris and iron banner drop endgame loot both more entertaining

PvP is a thing. Not much of a better chance at better loot, but you can have fun while taking the chance. Assuming you're not a scrub getting rekt

2 RepliesI play because I enjoy the game. I may not raid much, though I have done all the pre-TTK raids and challenges, as evident by Laurea Prima. I don't raid much because I prefer to raid without cheesing because I like the challenge and the fun of it. This usually gets me kicked from raid teams

So why must I do Raids and get shards and crap loot when I can do 1 run of Iron Banner and get the same as what a 10+ raid completion guardian has. Just like I did. Got the game last Friday and hit 304 just from Iron Banner. No wonder there's loads of salty "Raid loot sucks" posts. Can't wait for the next Iron Banner to get to 310+ [spoiler]Awaits salty responses[/spoiler]

In all honesty maybe 80 percent of the time people haven't done the raid or raid in general is due to the fact that they don't have the sufficient amount of "friends" to do it with. Not their fault and you can't blame them. lfg isn't noob friendly and there's only a few people that will take the time and patience to teach. Most peeps just say go watch a YouTube video and not cool either it discourages especially if the person tryna learn is making an effort to.

4 RepliesWhy grind a high light level? Why do you need a high light level? There is no reason, in trials its not noticably different, if i done the hard mode raid, all i would gain is a higher number that would make the next time i do it easier, so if i dont do hard mode, theres nothing else you can do that i cant by grinding it everyweek

I do pvp murking with year 1 weapons & then go on trials & try to go flawless on both my lock & hunter (titan is still not lvled up; sorry [quote]never go full Titan[/quote]) Finally for the 1st time in year 2 i was able to do it last week on both characters & got me 2 weapons each 313, still thinking about infusing them (probably will, next time i get on) I keep telling myself i should do the raid but man i keep hearing the loot sucks & it takes a lot of time if you don't get good people so yeah thats my fkin reason for not doin the raid
