"Thats not what you should focus on" ...... Telling others what to focus on is ..... kind of arrogant.
I mean you don't see me calling you a monkey for feeling "over hyped" when a company gives you shit that you already "experienced" as if thats an "event" or something.
Taking/locking away content from the game and giving them back sure is an "experience" alright, a LAZY time/budget friendly experience.
Here's another way to "focus" on this, what if the same people complaining are complaining about that exact same "experience" you're speaking off ?? Bizarre huh ??

Play most games with a yearly iteration and you tend to start from scratch. CoD is the same, sports games are the same. New players joined with year 2 as they would with any other game. They rerelease guns that are (hopefully) not the exact same, if you don't want to use them, don't. Not the entire player base has had every weapon. People complained they didn't have all of their weapons brought forward then complain when they are. I get a head ache from all the complaining here, not sure how bungie employees feel. I've played since Beta, never played a Bungie game before , just so no one calls me a Bungie apologist.

When they go "we want players to focus on the future and not use the old guns for the entirety of Destiny's life span" they stick by their statement and make better content. As it is right now, this is nothing, but a lazy excuse because they cant top their initial work. I don't need explaining on how things went down, i'm only pointing out why people are pissed. Its the same reason or "experience" the OP is "over hyped" for. I'm not calling you an "apologist", but you sure have the poor Bungie tone when they're supposed to be professionals.

I couldn't give a shit who made the game, I enjoy it is all. VOG is still a better raid to me, but Kings Fall isn't that far off, it's much better than the other DLCs. The new strikes are a lot better. If your talking about the weapons, well, yes the VOG weapons in particular were fantastic. They were probably too good. Every DLC people want something better, but there is surely a limit no? They clearly don't want everyone to use the same gun... Touch of malice is an odd one. I will say the progression system at the moment has become kinda balls.
