• My post from a different topic. In workshop mode, press and hold A/X to grab an object and everything it touches to move everything at once. Helps if you need to move a custom made house or defense wall. EDIT: *****ALSO, Hold A/X + LB/L1 and then use the left stick to control the height of an object. Hold A/X + RB/R1 and then use the left stick to control the distance to the camera.***** EDIT 2: Seriously, I'm so excited about that first edit. Idk how known it is, but I just figured it out and I'm -blam!-ing stoked!

    • Just curious is this has happened to anyone else... I was doing a routine check of settlements as I often do and noticed The Castle reported 0,0,0,0,0,0,0 for most stuff. I did not get any warning of them being under attack, so I dropped in. Once there, I could see all of the people were still there, but almost everything needed to be repaired... turrets, (2) #10 gas generators, the #40 water purifier outside the Castle and about half of the planted crops... but nobody was killed. Any ideas what might have been the cause? I thought maybe they got a mini nuke dropped on them by some mutants.

        • If you want to enclose a carport in Sanctuary, try using a metal wall end cap or a wood wall end cap. It works the best from what I've found. Be prepared for lots of minute movements to jockey an acceptable angle. And if a piece wants to connect for no discernible reason when it didn't earlier, don't question it. Place and continue as if nothing happened. For custom buildings, you might want to design the interior walls before doing the outer. To do that easier, place a wall where you know you'll want it on a floor or foundation. Goes a long way to saving time. You can rotate items with the L and R triggers, holding a and moving the left stick forward or back will move the object you've selected closer or further away. Holding A over a group of objects selects them all and you can move entire structures this way. Be warned! Frame rate goes to shit if it's a large building. If you have expensive items, and are running low on building space, you can drop the item and STORE, not SCRAP it and get more back for no real reason. Game logic, mostly. Be warned if you do this, it can apparently corrupt save games and cause glitches. I wouldn't do that too much. Otherwise if you're on PC, only a few of those are useful, but hope they helped.
