A.Now this is a hard question, we are not suppose to sell it to minors because of law suits. But some gamestop employee will sell them either if the shop is busy or they're "cool". But to be safe, just bring your parents.

a.Yes, we don't sent our order until 1-2 week before release, you'll get your Johnson.

**Nope, we just decide to not sell them to people who don't pre-order, to "teach" the customer to pre-order from the store.....We have 36 pre-order copies and about 60 regular copies, we just don't sell the others until 2 days after the launch date.** This is complete and total bulls**t. Yet another reason why I can't stand setting foot into a game stop. You want to "teach" the customer a lesson?!? That's part of what's wrong with the whole Gamestop business model. If you're a self respecting gamer at all, you should find a new job. My question for Gamestop is this...when will you realize that most people don't want to be ripped off on used games and trade-ins, or pressured into pre ordering games (even if they don't want them), or hounded about buying the strategy guide no matter hwo many times they say they don't need it?

Alright, just trying to confirm something. August 30th at 13:37 (Time on the receipt which was actually 1:37) I pre-ordered the game with my little $5 deposit. September 10th I came in and tried to change it to a collector's edition but they were out, so I just traded in a game to pay off more of it, and was given another receipt. Will I still get the Johnson code even though I have 2 different receipts now?

I pre-ordered my copy of ODST, I should get the Johnson code, now I was wondering:I will not be going to the mid-night release (the Gamestop that I go to is having one) but I will be going later that day or maybe the next day, now will I still get my Johnson? [Edited on 09.12.2009 10:22 AM PDT]

Is there any other place to get the controller bundle? I dont have a game stop close to my house and I need a new controller, so I figured I would save 20 bucks and get the bundle.

Johnson (as far as i know) does not come in the case. And you have 48 hours to pick it up, it's on your receipt.[/quote] I was told that the code is in the case, but I'm sure it could easily vary by store/state. Though I know it said the code card would be handed to me when the offer was still available on the GameStop website. If I don't get it, I don't get it. Sgt. Johnson is more of a collector's item to me!

i have a question about the receipt my grandpa took me to pre-order ODST and since hes going away on a business trip the weekend ODST comes out if my dad comes with me will i still be able to get it? My local GameStop has told me the Sgt. Johnson code is in the game case, regular or collector's. Why is it that other GameStop stores don't have the SJ code in the case and others do?
