The Taken King: Crux of Crota
So, I have been doing Crotas End level 33 twice a week since release and still haven't gotten a Crux to upgrade my (almost) fully upgraded Eidolon Ally. I am not trying to complain about my RNG or anything, but I am just wondering: where is the Crux of Crota, can it still drop, or can I never get it again because I wasn't lucky enough before The Taken King? Can I upgrade my Eidolon Ally to Necrochasm in any other way?

i run hard mode crota solo ever since taken king came out on all 3 charecters and after you can say a whole year i gotten only 6 crux of ctrota for how many euns is that

Had NO drops since TTK and i only need crux to comete my Y2 and 1 armory. Done it about 60+ times and nothing. Btw try to put Glowhoo on before you kill him. And can you get the crux while doing it Solo?

I can confirm that it drops... I've had 2 drops in the 2 times I did hard mode since TTK.

I'm pretty sure the crux doesn't drop anymore. I think it's just the necrochasm itself that drops now.

Maybe nothing but try running the sword I got mine the first time that way I also got another as swordbearer

If it makes you feel better, and as others have elated on this topic; I finally obtained my Crux the day Kings Fall came out. This was running it 3x a week, with all of my characters. Straight RNG, cruel as heck, I know. Just keep trying.

3 RepliesCrux drops on hard mode randomly. Only way to get necro is get crux to upgrade eidolon.
