Fallout 4 Gauss rifles.....
When do they start appearing? I've only ever seen one and it was the one that the woman from the castle sells.

10 RepliesThere is a downed passenger plane in the north of the map (can't remember location name) Go in the luggage storage & there is a smuggling compartment! 5x gauss rifle & a healthy stock of ammo! I'll post location once I bk on the game!

9 RepliesI got a Neverending Gauss rifle as a drop from a legendary at level 33. The neverending means it doesn't use ammo or need to be reloaded, though it glitches now and then telling me I have no ammo for it.

Yea u can steal one in the prydwin the bos ship. Havent done it myself but a friend did. Try using a stealth boy. Make sure u save before u do it because if u get caught ure bos beconea ure enemy

No spoilers : you can buy a guaranteed one once you reach the Railroads (freedom trail quest) and its very cheep.

Just got it at lvl38 at gunners plaza. Guy on the roof had it

Only one I found was in the final Minutemen story mission, held by a named Synth.

They are very rare combat drops. Easier to buy one. Ammo is fairly rare in the field as well.
