You: people choose upper left to avoid mechanics
Me: you can't avoid mechanics; when you get buff left isn't the easiest
You: left almost never gets buff- unless bad dps (I've never heard this one before); everyone else agrees with you (2 people) so you must be right
Lol. Gg bruh
Edit: you changed your post from left never gets buff unless bad dps (huh?) to left never gets buff first? Come on.

He's right though...

People like you, who pay attention to details, especially patterns, are great to have on a raid team. It makes understanding mechanics easier when clearing on day 1.

Edited by EzE_408: 11/27/2015 3:32:03 PMUmm no one changed shit you moron. It's a fact left platform has a lower probability to get the aura than all other platforms... What part of "the left upper platform always is lit up FIRST, on the first sequence" do you not understand??? It's always lit up FIRST. If it's lit up first, then that means the left platform is GUARANTEED to not get the aura on the FIRST sequence. Most halfway decent teams only take two, three at worst, sequences to kill Warpriest. Thus, if left upper platform cannot get the aura on the first go, then that means you have a 33 percent change to get it on the second... Understand?? These basic math teachers must be failing at their jobs. Furthermore, if your DPS sucks, then it may take MORE glyphs. Therefore, the probability of the upper left glyph being utilized increases. If you don't get it now, you are an idiot.

That is simply not true. It is not always left first. It is RNG and I've taken the aura at top left on the first stage multiple times.

Edited by EzE_408: 11/28/2015 3:48:51 PMLol we are talking HM kiddo. How many HM clears do you have? The glyph sequence is ALWAYS left/upper platform FIRST. If you say otherwise, you are an idiot.

Upper left gets aura (last in sequence) just as much. It is however more protected during the adds phase, and so I and others have an easier time not dying up there.

Edited by UGL13RTH4NU: 11/27/2015 3:55:21 PMROFLMAO. I think your problem is you always play with a good group. I don't. I've been in groups multiple times that spend 2 hours - sometimes more - on each boss. Killing him in 2 sequences is great, but still not a reality for many groups.
-
2 or 3 sequences the percentages are the same essentially. There can only be 4 sequences...

Edited by EzE_408: 11/27/2015 3:19:10 PMSorry, I just beat the raids the day they come out. And 3x every week since. From any position on every boss. Your failing to understand mechanics is your issue. Instead of arguing ignorantly, why don't you call out glyph order on your next run. Then you might understand what I am talking about. Unfortunately, I think you still wouldn't understand. Looks like the majority of your 18 kills is from NM Oryx.

What I still fail to see is your point, except the one point you're right on; I probably never will. Bottom line going upper left doesn't avoid mechanics. Stating so is just dumb. I too have run the raid (s) since day one (with the exception of VoG which I didnt run until several weeks after it came) and still manage to beat it once a week with randoms. You want a real challenge? Try it with randoms from here on out.

Edited by EzE_408: 11/27/2015 3:40:55 PMPeople who know the fight, will go to upper left to avoid the aura. Also, before the fight starts, I specifically tell people who cannot do the aura to get on the upper or left platform if they don't want to learn it. Lol. I teach people each week buddy. You assume I don't run with ransoms, which is comical. I love meeting new people and learning new ideas. I post in LFG 1x a week to teach new people mechanics. People show up with shotguns and hand cannons. 4 new people last week ranging from 305-309. Ran them to Oryx and took 4.5 hours doing it. I think you need a learning group. It might help.
