Front and Back debate has officially been solved
Attention ladies and gentleman, I have solve the debate of which side is the front and which is the back during the Oryx fight.
[spoiler]the door you walk through is the back and the side Oryx starts is the front[/spoiler]
How do I know this? Well I was reading through the grimoire and found the answer. In the Ir Halak, Deathsinger entry it states that her and her sister are located at the [b]PROW[/b] of the ship. Now here is the definition of prow

Done and done
EDIT: people are still trying to defend the other side of the debate. Just accept it.

The focus of attention in any given room is [i][b]always[/b][/i] the front. Front/back have absolutely nothing to do with where you enter from.

11 RepliesYou think of the layout as a house. You enter through the front door and the first two pads are the front room. You go to the back rooms which is where the other 2 pads are and oryx is in the backyard.

Not trying to be that guy, but it says the one at the prow is in front of her sister & that the other sister is behind her, so wouldn't that mean the right side is the front, & the left side is the back?

2 RepliesIr Halak's grimoire card states that SHE, meaning Ir Halak, stands at the bow. That means that Oryx would only be at the bow when he moves to her side. The exact quote is: "She who stands ahead, at the prow of the ship of Oryx, her father, she is Ir Halak..." Now which ever side she is on is the prow and Ir Anuk's side is toward the stern. Once we figure out which is which we can say Oryx is going fore or aft, starboard and port.

1 ReplyWait wait wait wait. The prow? Every image I've seen of the ship involves the stern pointing at Saturn. I've checked this with the cinematics and the in game images of the ship. Unless the dreadnought is a derpship that flies backwards.

BLASPHEMY!! nice. its always been obvious anyways: you head in, facing all of the action, with your BACK towards the entry door! and its obviously the front of the ship too because as weve all seen, the back of the ship is a humongous diamond-engine thingy.
