Front and Back debate has officially been solved
Attention ladies and gentleman, I have solve the debate of which side is the front and which is the back during the Oryx fight.
[spoiler]the door you walk through is the back and the side Oryx starts is the front[/spoiler]
How do I know this? Well I was reading through the grimoire and found the answer. In the Ir Halak, Deathsinger entry it states that her and her sister are located at the [b]PROW[/b] of the ship. Now here is the definition of prow

EDIT: people are still trying to defend the other side of the debate. Just accept it.

When you were in a class room and the teacher asked you to look up front did you all look at the door you entered or at the teacher? Now when you go to where Oryx is located, with those things in mind, is he in the front or in the back? Hint: It's pretty damn obvious that the front of any room is where the focus is, the stage, the teacher, or in this case, Oryx.

8 RepliesOK, I'm going to level this with people STILL thinking Oryx spawns at the back. The Dreadnought is a ship, right? Then you treat it the same as a naval vessel, what replaces the water is the void of space (and yes, I know space isn't a *true* void for you smart asses). Ergo, where Oryx and his daughters are located is the FRONT of the ship, specifically stated in Grimoire and by OP. The front of the ship is the prow, where Ir Halak states they are in the Grimoire. Yes, you may enter a door then proceed forward. But understand this isn't in relation to a house like a previous user commented, you treat the Dreadnought with the same terms as a naval vessel. In conclusion, THE PROW OF THE -blam!-ING SHIP IS THE FRONT. YOU FIGHT ORYX AT THE FRONT OF THE SHIP. THATS IT, CASE SOLVED.

3 RepliesOryx is the front. However, the "prow" as you stated says it is towards the front of the ship. If the sisters are towards the prow, that doesn't make any sense since they are in the middle.

I used to firmly believe that the door you walk in was the front, and Oryx was the back. My main argument was that nobody walks through the front door into the back of the house. Also, I refused to let Oryx dictate my directional orientation for me, that scumbag. Now, you have officially changed my mind. You were all right this whole time... Except for those that argued that Oryx himself is what made that side the front. You are all chumps. Thanks OP, you've given a solid reasoning that no one can argue with, and put this thing to rest.

1 ReplyOr a better way, when fighting oryx (hell even sisters) get numbers. 1 2 3. Don't worry about left, right, back, or front platforms. Everyone goes off their number and 2 floaters. The numbers are based off wherever the relic starts, or in oryx's case, where he slams. I've done this with lfg random people for the past 4 or 5 times now, saved a headache with figuring out what platform is where.
