Where were all the MIDA's people claimed to love?
Where were they in year one with the thorn meta? I refused to let the op power of the thorn get to me, I was using MIDA. Outgunning every thorn user I saw(then burning out but that's not the point). Now that MIDA is getting a year 2 everyone is practically buttfuсking the thing. I am really starting to hate the bandwagon seen throughout the forums. Most people don't even have their own ducking opinion. They blindly follow the crowd.
So to my true MIDA faithful users, show the bandwagon crowd how to actually use it.
Edit: hmm, a lot of people saying it was their favorite have more thorn kills than MIDA kills

1,283 kills - 79% Precision Kills MIDA was the weapon I wanted most from Day 1. It ended up being the last exotic I needed for a Y1 collection finally managed to eventually get it when Xur sold it for the second time. I missed it the first time he sold it, I think, about 5/6 weeks after launch because Farcry 4 came out. I was gutted! Never failed to check Xur since. Well, up until about 4 weeks after TTK dropped. Haven't played since.

People are hyped but if they weren't using it for the majority of y1, I'm sure they will put it back in the vault. They will be like eww such a slow ttk blah blah, but do they know the mida shuffle? Lol

I didnt play much crucible but i did use mida. Went to lighthouse using it too.

Where were all these post in y1 in regards to mida being some great weapon in y1. I played a decent amount of pvp in y1 and very rarely did I run into a guy using mida. All of a sudden these forums blow up for a weapon that was only used by a few die hards.

i have nearly 20k kills with Mida versus 2200 with Thorn, does this answer your questions? lol MIDA was my first exotic and at the time it dropped i was in love with Scouts. I played with it every single day until I acquired a precious precious gun named FATEBRINGER.....then I became a handcannon fan, being able to one or 2 shot most things. That being said, MIDA will always have a place in my heart as one of the most fun, different sounding, awesome scout rifles.

Loved my old mida, will love my new. Mida and Red Death were my favs in crucible.

I used 3 scouts in tear 1..mida, voc, and ghelions demise. Mida is not amazing but it's very fun and crushes in crucible. It's like the last word of scouts.

2 RepliesPeople swear mida is godly but its not. Its a ok weapon. Nothing more, nothing less. If you dont get 4 headshots in at least 5 shots youre dead unless youre playing against a potatoe. Its ttk has always been too low to compete with other exotics or great legendaries during previous patches. Dont give me the strafe bs. It makes little to no difference when actually combating individuals unless youre using dance machines. Unless youre pretty decent or youre playing scrubs youll probably lose using mida. Its not bad but lets stop saying its amazing. Its a good all arounder and its very easy to use which is why you guys like it. But its not a dominant weapon. Only in skilled hands(any gun is dominant in skilled hands really). Just my opinion.

i used hard light from the day i got it even after the auto rifle nerf i stuck by it, now i can dust it off and create tear in the crucible again along with the band wagoners

I was here. Mida was my first gun (from vog) and she will always be my favorite I've got most of my kills with her on many occasion. I used it in trials almost for every game. It was really effective, especially for throwing off snipers.

My brother deleted my Mida so I bought a new one. Whatever. I'm leveling it back up. It's still so much fun to use

I love my VoC better then my MIDA. I guess Year 2 will just be about using MIDA, because VoC got left behind. There isn't any gun that comes close to VoC or MIDA. I've tried numerous scouts others have said that would be good but they suck. Hung Jury is the closest I can get. MIDA returning will probably get me back to playing Destiny. But it will probably have to wait until after taking care of my Mother. Her health is bad. Maybe January or February I'll finally get to play Destiny again.

I never got thorn. I'm not a hand cannon fan to be honest.

I used it on my warlock for the longest time, but when thorn was every where I switched to Red Death to counter the poison a bit.

Discovered it later year one loved it for certain maps not all. Still really enjoyed it and would put it in with my favorites just never got to use it s whole lot cause I was a Christmas noob and didn't play a lot

MIDA was one of my most used exotic primaries during Year 1, and actually used it during the Thorn quest. After that, I mainly used Thorn, but I haven't dismantled either of them to this day.
