Just got a very kind and cordial PM from B.B. eleven days ago, expressing his appreciation for a forum post I made. The man was an uncommon gentleman, and though I've been on b.net sporadically for the last four years or so, I wish I'd spent more time here exchanging ideas with him and getting to know him. I can see how well-loved he is, and I will miss both him and my lost opportunity to get to know him better. If anyone knows the name of the charity for which he worked, I'd love to donate in his honor.

And after all that time, it simply came down to a difference in opinion, which it is always going to. I can't believe that it's still going, and I think it's about to hit 5000 replies or something like that. That's a quagmire for anyone who thinks they'll influence anything in it. Sorry I couldn't make it to PAX this year Duardo and steal your iPhone. I don't know what it is about charity work that I find so fulfilling. I spend 8 hours a day working to make the County I live in a better place...and then go home and backpack Obi Wan Stevobi pretty much for hours on end in either Halo or BF1943. I guess I'm just a giver! Dazarobbo, I can absolutely say for certain that Halo CE negatively impacted my undergrad GPA. When Halo PC came out it was even worse...because then I could play it IN CLASS!! Why would you make it so I could play HCE's campaign IN CLASS?!?!? Diddy, I may or may not have heard that story before. Don't worry, if you and your friends showed up to backpack me to a 50...I'd only be half-drunk. I can still strafe tho!! Deep NNN, I love HaloGAF. It keeps me humble. No one over there gives a damn about me or who I am. It reminds me that even though I know most people here and in the rest of the Bungie community, there are still those that could care less. And they HATE my signature. Which makes me giggle. And Firestream, if you could go ahead and put me as #1 on the HaloCharts leaderboards for a week or so, that'd be awesome. Or just long enough that I can take a picture of it and spam RippinHeads with it. LOLOLOL ~B.B.
