As you said yourself, you're new to Destiny. Most of us have paid $140, for what amounts to chopped up content. We have stuck by Bungie from Day One, yet the total disregard we are shown by people like Luke Smith and our supposed Community Manager DeeJ is beyond belief. You ask, "Where is the beloved community that I remembered from back in the day?" But the question you should be asking is, "Where is my beloved Bungie from back in the day?" Bungie has taken a serious turn for the worse and all of those people who remember them from the great HALO experience were more than happy to give them the benefit of the doubt for a rocky year one start, but unfortunately despite the claims that they've learned from those mistakes Bungie has kept TTK pretty much the same as what we saw in Year One. So reading your post all I see is another thread trying to blame the community for the toxicity which is in plain view for anyone to see on these forums, but not understanding where the real blame lies. We've supported this game for nearly 15 months now with both our time and money. It's time we should be seeing a return on our investment, but all we're getting are empty promises or vague statements about how things are going to improve in the future.

  • Im curious about what this "return on your investment" might be? What are you expecting?

  • A coherent story for starters. A game that knows what direction it is headed would be another.

  • well I was expecting the 140 content to be the 60 content it actually is. And even at 140, there still isn't half the stuff Bungie chose to hype. Bungie promised the moon, then delivered a single game in paid increments over a calendar year. Sorry, not sorry, that Bungie is the bad guy here not the paid customer community. Don't promise what you can't deliver Bungie

  • I'm not saying I disagree with you but, can I ask how many hours you've played?? I'm betting it's a lot more than most games, yes we've run out of content fast this time but don't think wanting something back for your investment is really right, you've probably had countless hours of enjoyment so for me the expense is justified! Just my personal opinion If your that unhappy, take out the game and go play another, it's only a game remember

  • Unfortunately there is no taking the game out. It's a hard lesson to learn, but I'll never make another digital purchase again. So when I decide I'm finally done with this game then it just gets deleted. Now I've often seen the very same argument you've posted that time spent playing equals value. For the longest time I too, went along with this train of thought, but after reflecting on nearly 15 months of play I realize that isn't the case. Most of year one was spent hunting the mighty Gjallarhorn and a couple of the other weapons (never did get Fatebringer). When Bungie was hyping TTK, they swore up and down things would be different. They had learned from the mistakes they made with exotic drops and Raid drops, but as you can see from the numerous threads on this forum that isn't the case. It's just another example of Bungie saying one thing to get our money. This game had so much potential. I'd say has, but after nearly 15 months you wonder will they ever get their act together. With the purchase of a PS4 for my son's birthday, my son no longer plays Destiny. Now that might not seem like such a big thing, but he was the one who pushed me to buy TTK. I had put Destiny down for two months to play Dragon Age: Inquisition. TTK did seem fresh and a step in the right direction, but after just two weeks it was back to Grind City.

  • To bad I can only upvote this once, so I also bump it with my post. I full agree with You. People get mad not bcoz they hate the game or Bungie, but bcoz they care for the game and for Bungie to do good, but instead they chose for some strange reason the worst possible scenarios for the most simple obvious things with a simple possible solution...

  • around 2000 hours gametime on my account... you pay 140 bucks for a concert ticket these days and thats over within 2-3 hours. If anything i would like to see more content , but it takes time to develop that. Also dont forget they are making destiny 2 and i would really love to see some vast improvements there. Tap some more of that huge potential this game has. I doubt there wont be another DLC until Destiny 2 , because its still such a long way , so lets hope for another raid and a few other things until destiny 2 will hopefully deliver big time.
