    Why shouldn't they? If they have enough light level to not be at a disadvantage all they have to do is win one in every 6 games to rank up just as fast as anyone else

  • IB is endgame for crucible, like trials. Average players can join, but shouldn't expect an easy time. Bounties should be hard for them and gameplay should Be challenging.

  • I only play pvp during iron banner.. im not even that good at the game. Took me a few attempts to do but i did it.. just keep playing

    Maybe the rewards and the 20% bonus for winning but putting clash? Are you guys serious? It is a shity game mode no objective I mean wow. You should work on a 6v6 salvage or Round base mode 6v6 (Like trials) would be even more fun if each Iron banner was including more than one mode I mean you guys are suppose to be Bungie... Put some creativity add modes like VIP (One player having the VOG relics you need to protect him first team to kill the other team vip gets a point.) Or what ever I mean its ez to think of something new just using the content the game already have to offer. You know pretty much what you guys did with the first 2 dlc's, making us running the story missions backward...

  • Of course I haven't seen the well written ones. Almost no one has! There is so much rubbish posted on these forums, that the few decent ones get lost among the countless crap that is posted daily on these forums. I don't blame Bungie for not wanting to scour through the endless stream of toxic waste that is bungie.net, when they can go somewhere like Reddit and find intelligent, well thought out, and non-hostile constructive criticism. [spoiler]The only reason to come on these forums is to get a good laugh from all the brain dead children trying to outdo one another in their epic journey to post the most idiotic, entitled, and/or outlandish thread. (Well, that and to check out Murdius Maximus' 'Unofficial Weekly Update', the only consistently entertaining quality message every week.)[/spoiler]

    True not disagreeing with any thing you have stated. But their job is a community manager. And this is an area owned by the company. If is full of crap, then as a manager you need wade through all that crap to gain the information you want. Or sort out all the crap. Have the ninjas on ball for removing or nicely suggesting if they have a problem please put it in correct manner to be dealt with. Ever company I have ever worked for that has been customer based. Whether or not you can help that customer or not. You still give an indication you have taken their thought or problems into consideration. Take the weekly updates. I cannot remember the last one I read that did not have a sarcastic tone to it, and that they hear the community. If they think what people are saying / suggesting is wrong. Tell the community so they know and can see they do care and are listening. Its not hard to read through the crap on the forums to get a general idea of what's upsetting the community. And then address that in a simple way of. We understand the frustration with our dedicated fan base about the refer a friend system to gain new quest lines and items will be hard to get new players when you have already shown us faith and brought all your friends to become a Legend with you. But this is something we should of put in place from the first week. As going forward this will always be available for future dlcs. Simple as that. They know and seen the frustration and addressed it.

  • I do agree with a lot of what you said there. You have some valid points. Bungie is really terrible at managing things in a more personal manner. I think part of the reasoning for this is they think it's better not to mingle, than mingle and say the wrong thing and make things worse. I wouldn't be surprised if Activision polices a lot of what they can say and can comment on as well. Bungie used to be a far more straight forward company before their current partnership. That doesn't excuse them mind you, they made the choice to become BungieVision after all :) However, a lot of people that are here are new and only been around since Destiny. They don't know the Bungie crew and therefore take the things they say, and their sarcastic tones as being demeaning. If they actually had been in this community since the days of Halo (and before), they would know that these people interacting with us from Bungie have always been like this, and are trying to be down to earth individuals and put a lighter mood on the dark shadow that constantly exists in this toxic dump we call bungie.net. Perhaps they should regulate things better on here, but I think they let it grow so far out of hand, they don't know how to reign it in without pissing off the masses that inhabit these forums now. The very large majority on this forum are petulant, entitled children that can't be pleased no matter what is said, so they often choose to say nothing. Though I'd like to see things get better and the rift between the forum and Bungie mend in some way, I don't see that really ever happening. I really think they see their own dedicated website (at least for forum discussion) a lost cause. I mean why else do you post pertinent details (like IB closing early; the last two times for that matter) on Twitter, and not your own website? [spoiler]Anyway, thanks for an intelligent reply and discussion. I don't get to encounter that too often on here.[/spoiler]

  • Couldn't agree more with what you have said. Especially with the keeping people up to date. This should not be done by social media. We live in a world where companies will check and look into your social media. And I for one don't want games to be the main thing an employer sees about me. Because there is a large stigma associated with gamers and still being lazy. But it's shouldn't be that hard to bridge the cap of bungie and it's own website. Unless like you say..   • If the computer data doesn't agree with the childish complaints of someone on the forums, why address it? Doesn't matter if it is intelligently written or poorly written. The amount of people on these toxic forums are in the slim minority compared to the number of registered/ playing users.

    First of all I love IB and recieved some great rewards this time around however my only gripe is with match bailers. Still need to do something about deliberate match bailers (not talking about those who are disconnected) CONTINUAL deliberate bailers should be hit with a 30 minute lockout timer, a 0.01 kd for the match, surrender all currently held medallions without repgain and have a -50% rep gain debuff for their next winning match. Also to help deter bailers once the 5 medal max it hit should automatically be redeemed sick of seeing people quit if their team is down by a measly 1000pts

  • Think about Iron Banner every 2 weeks. And also really think about the lag issues and host advantages ( its honestly frustrating to know you could have won 20 encounters but the other team has a half a second advantage on you) which are quite noticable . If a team red bars break up the match , no winners no losers( trails) because it happens even on my team at times and there is just no apparent reason for it ( its soooooo frustrating to go 8-0 knowing your next match will most likely be against a team with all red bars ) . Other than that IB was worth more than Trails and Raid combined that week. You need to tweek the loot in trails and raids as well and bring them up to par. War Priest not giving me anything the last 9 ? encounters ? Did you guys scrap his loot table?

  • If the 310+ was actually 311+, We wouldn't directly notice. we would feel like we were getting better loot. We wouldn't face palm at 310 gear that we already have.
