Just wanted to give a nod to Bungie on this last iron bannerr, I thought it was much improved from the first new attempt. The grind actually felt worth it this time as the reward system was much more plentiful thus making the whole exp. feel a lot less like a grind. I also have to give a big thumbs up to this new system that breaks up teams that are way to unbalanced in an attempt to give everyone a better chance of getting a win here and there, esp. for those who are running solo and found themselves in a poor team assemble/dynamic.

After getting 3 chars to R5, i got no weapons to show for it. Only weps i got were the scout rifle and sidearm which i used to infuse other weapons, because both had bad perk rolls lolz, I lol'd so damn hard when i got a double ghost shell drop from a R5 package (at least it was a 317 shell haha). Other than that i don't have actual complaints. I like that bungie made it clash instead of keeping it control. My only suggestion for bungie is to take out the ghost shells and the armor from the R5 packages, that way you are garanteed a weapon. May be a good weapon or a bad weapon, but at least it would be a weapon lol. Only things i wanted from IB was the pulse rifle or scout rifle, sadly the SR had a very bad perk roll on it and didn't get the PR at all. I can only hope for it in the next IB.

I disagree about it being better. Then again, this is the first IB event since release that I haven't reached rank 5. Logged in twice last week, couldn't even find the willpower to complete the 13 match bounty. I did 8 or 9 matches with 5 or 6 wins. Even though I was winning regularly, it just wasn't fun for me. To each their own though. Glad some people are getting their money's worth.

The amount of loot was perfect, it was the only iron banner that I played on after reaching rank 5. I didn't even mind it was clash at the end.

I agree 99%. Please, no more clash. I enjoy an objective when playing crucible. I got used to it, but it is still less fun than control, in my opinion.

I agree with everything you said, this iron banner was fun win or lose. But... The losing team should be broken up and put into a different group but I feel the winning team should remain together as a group. I feel that would help make new friends/fireteams.

Clash was a much better choice. The games ended much more quickly which increased rewards & let everyone rank up faster

It was a lot better this time, I don't care for clash. I think it would be cool if it was random between zone control, clash and control.

Mostly agree. Bulk of awards (as in 99% of them) turned into scrap as the light level was tens of points below what I was running. But at least stuff dropped

The only thing they need to fix is the people dropping out. Rather than a mercy rule it needs to be how many people are on each team. A couple times my fire team went in and ended up 6v2 or 6v3 bc for whatever reason they stopped bringing them in. It's definitely long and probably annoying for the other guys getting heavy ammo'd to death. So if it can register that it's been that disadvantage for 'x' amount of time it should just mercy it regardless of score.

Would've been the same bad IB... Except them nice drops from the rank 5 packages.... It's also nice that the weapons and gear can drop 300+ light level in mach completions.

Please keep doing it like this Bungie. It was awesome. I enjoy Control better but the loot drops were perfect and made the grind worth it.

Definitely not bad. Would like to see the drops be more consistently in line with the light level or a little higher. Did get some decent equipment and guns from the rewards though. Better.

I enjoyed it this time around, except for the end of game loot table rewarding the worst performing players.

I was able to rediscover why I loved the bladedancer and the voidwalker. Still, at the end of the day, my striker is my favorite.

This Iron Banner was my first time getting my feet wet with PvP in Destiny. Soooo much fun, hooked now, ran Crucible last night lol. Really had no idea how fun PvP could be in this game.

Yeah, I'm bored with the game since leveling light beyond 310 is all luck, 320 is impossible due to no 320 relic. I liked IB enough that I will keep found that at least until new content is released.
