I apologize for the bottled up imagination. And work with me on the typos. I still have a 2 hour drive. blek.

It's not open, just re-integrating where my characters are at. I'll have more tomorrow, This situation and war is extremely far away from Terra and it's surrounding galaxies.
“Send her to Terra.” A familiar female voice echoed along the metallic hull of the ship. Engines murmured in the back ground, a sad melody. “She is no longer fit to be here. At least on Terra she might have some peace not everyone we knew has died yet.” A man confronted the woman. Entirely serious, his visage had an exhausted flair. “Our sister died there Hadra through foul plans…” Hadra glared at the man. “Our sister fought there. This woman cannot fight. She has no place in such a predicament. She can rest, at the least, she can exit this carnage, put up her feet, and have a rest Sampson!” Belabored and exhausted a woman of no uncertain age sat on the ground exhausted. Pushing back some red hair she caught the entrance of two male youths. Hadra noted their entrance with a silencing gaze. The boys would mind their elder. Now a fierce fighter, Hadra had been refined by the fierce flames of an ancient war. There was a marked maturity in her face, her stance, and her eyes. Oh how her eyes beheld a sense of false sanity. Today though she fought with Sampson with only words. Inwardly, he knew she had a point. Terra wasn’t always safe, but it was something. Now time only ran short. The red head in their possession was being hunted. The boys, youths in their race, would have an uncertain future for staying as well. Sampson turned to the woman finally. “Celeste, take the boys. We’ll send them with you.” A guttural cry left the woman’s throat. “If I die it will be with my kind… after my husband! I have that pride alone.” “You have that insanity!” Hissed Hadra. “Do not make the mistake or your sisters and brothers. Our mothers and fathers who time has wearied and descried our minds with the waxing of utter exhaustion. Listen sister, this is your fight, but you fight in a different way. Take our hope, take our salvation… and live in our stead.” Celeste stood defiantly. “Not ever without Lady or Heather’s permission.” Hadra’s face displayed a look of despair. “Today, we must make our own decisions.” A drop in temperature and change in aura signaled something fatal. Together Hadra and Sampson created a portal. One of the young men took the weary hand of Celeste and ushered her through the portal. The second young man lingered a moment longer. Hadra whispered something to him in the hoarseness of past emotions. The pain of their reality only highlighted the dead dream of return. Suddenly in a vain attempt at escape, from the shadows a creature attacked. It leapt with a blasted quickness in the knowledge that its presence was already known. Hadra pushed the boy behind her and took a stance alongside Sampson, the portal behind them. Another presence entered the fray. This one very familiar, grasped the creature as it attempted to enter the fray. A woman, her hands tore the beast with an agitated ease. Even in saving her fellow people, Hadra and Sampson kept their stance as the woman fully took form from her pass between dimensions. The boy slipped past Hadra to have Sampson’s hand land on his shoulder with a force. The youth buckled for a moment, but his eyes were wholly occupied with the woman before him. “Mother?” he said. The woman looked up at the boy as she tossed the remnants of the body from her hands. She was covered in blackish blood. Obviously having been in some skirmish previous to her appearance here. Her eyes betrayed no love at the moment. Glazed over she registered them as her kind. It took her a second to smile. At that she stepped towards the boy. Hadra and Sampson relaxed a little. “Mother, I’m leaving. Is that ok? For me to go?” The mother’s bloodied hand slowly ran through her son’s thick, dark hair. She remembered him. Her son, she kissed his forehead and her smile broadened. For this moment she retained some of her sanity. “Yes, darling. You will take care of Celeste and you will take care of Tiberius. I love you.” Cupping his face she pressed her head to his for a minute. He was by far her most precious possession, this one son. From her hand she procured a small ball of light. “Take this. They will know you when you arrive.” The boy took the flash of light from his mother’s hand. A warmth coursed through him and a flash of people and moments in time from his mother’s past flashed before his eyes. “Now go. It is important you be safe.” Inquisitive, though he turned to the portal, the boy spoke. “Mother, if I’m safe you will be too right?” She smiled as only a mother can. The last bits of emotion becoming something of a stranger to her as she succumbed to her depression and the drain of her soul. She was no longer the person she once was. “Good bye my love.” The boy passed through the portal and it closed. A deathly cold filled the room. The mother sighed deeply, pained for the loss of her heart, but enlightened by the knowledge that her child could live on and her promise would be fulfilled. Palpable electricity filled the room as the woman offered her very essence to her strength now. All for a war that spanned so many galaxies and lives. She disappeared in a dark flash and joined her brethren to fight by their side. A sinking feeling beat on Hadra’s within as she watched her friend and sister descend into madness. “You could go back. I know you made a promise.” Sampson broke the silence. Weary eyed, Hadra smirked. “Someday, we will be as great… and as broken as her. The only question is when.”
