Titan Melee is a myth...
I guess the Titan has T-Rex arms since its melee has the range of a toddler. I think a small range buff is in order. It's absolutely pathetic to use.

3 RepliesTitan melee is best used for following a shotgun pump, that's what we did before all these shotguns freaking one shot all the time, before Felwinters and Party Crasher broke the entire shotgun meta...then Bungie just gives everyone a perfect roll Conspiracy Theory-D...I don't understand. Shotguns are fun, but I don't think 1-shot kill shotguns should be so common. Also, since the Titan Melee has the least range, it should do the most damage. This isn't the case and it's really annoying to get double slapped by a warlock from across the room.

1 ReplyI can pop people with my Titan melee just fine. The Titan has different pros and cons. Sure it doesn't have the best melee but it has the most armor. It has the best offensive super right now. It's PvE support super is the best support class in PvE, but defender also is game breaking in certain PvP game modes. These melee'd have been the same for about a year and three months. There is no point in changing them at this point. If you don't like the Titan melee then go to the warlock or hunter.

6 RepliesIf you go from playing Warlock and smacking people from a distance, yes, it can seem like the Titan has no melee range. But there are pros and cons to using each and melee range is one of them. Once you get used to being closer to your target before punching it's not a big deal. No "range buff is in order".

Since the titan's melee range will mark the start of the damage falloff for shotguns, they can't extend it without making shotguns too long-range! The poor dears are caught in a no-win situation.
