just thought about how to solve the problems with "new" friends for the "tale of two guardians" questline
let´s try this out! maybe it works.
create a new acc. on your PS4 like you did as you first set up PS4
create a new acc. on PSN like you did at you first ps4 set up
log on to your main PS4 acc. and set PSN acc. as primary than log out
log on to your new acc on ps4 and start destiny.
so if i´m right your new acc. can use destiny license from your main acc. but it counts as a new one.
now one of your friends or clan mates can refer you as a friend and you should receive the quest.
after you finished the quest line you should have earned all the rewards from it on your new sub caracter.
now do it again but your clan mate should create a new sub acc.
maybe it will work. i´ve not tested it because i´m at work but i will if i´m back home.

do you get the quest line from the speaker? i couldn´t test it yesterday because my firiend had issues with his ps4. can you please tell all the step you made to make it work for you.

This method doesn't work. I tried and it kept taking me to a page that says I need to purchase ttk even after activating the account as a primary... Sorry fellas, looks like we're gonna have to find some new players of our own if we ever want a shot at that sexy sparrow... And those emotes...

Edited by parabellumXV: 11/24/2015 2:49:14 PMyou don´t need to play with your self! i guess you have 1 or 2 friends on you friendslist who are also lvl 40 and 300+ light and want to do the refer a friend quest. just tell them they should follow the instuctions to create a "sub" acc. after that you can play the new quest with your main acc. and your friend is refered with his new "virgin" acc to you. after you complete the quest once do it again but the other wy around. now you log on with your new acc. and your friend plays with is main acc. to earn the rewards! got it?

My friend and I are trying this method tonight. I'll let you know if it works out. So far it seems like a very plausible method. Still a bit skeptical about it, but those emotes are so worth grinding to have...
