Yes. If you're any good, you can get to rank 5 on one of the alts. I started my Warlock at 262 on Saturday, played 14 games and got to rank 5.
I'm going for rank 3 on my Titan tonight. A couple of bounties should do it.

So you would suggest starting an alt rather than grinding the Hunter i have at Level 5 for drops?

Yep. You'll get the drops on an alt (although for that class) and can probably get one to rank 5. I got a 317 ghost on my Warlock at rank 2 over the weekend!

I would. I started my third character yesterday and played about 3 hours. Then this morning before work, played one round to finish off one of the weekly bounties and hit rank 5. Weekly bounties are worth 2519 right now. In three hours you could definitely get him to 5. If you really want the arms just grind for them and if they don't drop, just buy them before you log off.
