What's the point in reaching 320 light?

I'm not sure, I'm happy with 300ish light. Means I can still hit most endgame content with no worries

And based on our experience from getting level 30,32,34....it will be useless because when they sell the new DLC, the new level will be higher and can be obtained in 1 day.. So...just wait..in few weeks..the new light level will be 400 and everyone can get to that light level just playing in 1 day... And don't forget...all the guns and gears will be obsolete and be replaced with the same Guns/gears but has worse stats.

Edited by Tomoyo-CCS: 11/23/2015 6:23:57 PMjust to say you did it if you been playing any dlc up to this point you should know by now that next dlc will give us gear near 300 to 320 or better before we even do the raid. would say as long as you can get to 311 for hm raid with swapping guns your good for this dlc since hm oryx enemy are no longer at advantage.

320 will be new requirement for the upcoming DLC on normal mode

Ppl just want to be the best. I'm not doing it or trying to as of yet. Everyone over 315 claims their either bored or complain about drops. When the next dlc is announced I'll start raiding again

Too make an easy game even easier I guess. I'm 317 on my warlock and 316 on my Titan and hunter and it's already boring....it's just a carrot.

I think 319 is the maximum as 309 before the hard raid was uploaded

Dunno. At the moment, I think it is for people to feel like they completed the game, which is impossible because Destiny cannot be beaten.
