Because you opened this. you will get kissed on Friday by the person you love or like. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Do not break this chain. You have 2 minutes this is not a fake...apparently. Forward this to 15 people in the next 15 minutes and you WILL have the best day of your life tomorrow. You're number one crush will either KISS, ask you out, or call you. If you break this chain, the little girl named Kaitlyn who died 2 years ago on a car crash will be in your room TONIGHT! Good luck <<3, and your time starts, right know No Cheatin
The fact of proving to yourself and your loved ones that you have horrible time management.
-
To say you reached it then immediately put the game down.
-
For the same reason people climb mountains or jump from air planes. Because they can.
-
So you are more ready when the next DLC drops and vendors are selling 310 stuff.

2 RepliesFeeling special and coming to forums to tell people to ask you anything.

1 ReplyWhat's the point of TTK can't even get raid gear to drop.
-
1 ReplyYou realize there was no point in reaching max Level in any expansion or vanilla either right. "Reach max to make the raid easier" well same thing now... That's it. And bragging rights
-
1 ReplyEdited by JHarv: 11/23/2015 11:34:25 PMBecause it's a super realistic, attainable goal that is rewarded by accomplishments. Lol who am I kidding, go grind an easy raid and cross your fingers every week because addictions.

Edited by Sieze5: 11/23/2015 11:55:18 PMThere isn't one. It's just another rung on the ladder of an endless grind. I don't think you will see as many 320's as you did 34's from HOV. I think it's because a lot of people are over the grind to the top. In addition, Bungie put a lot more barriers to max level. Double RNG = you have to get lucky to get the right item at the right light level. Before raid items and IB items were guaranteed to get you max level. So... There will be fewer 320's. This buys Bungie more time before they have to drop an expansion. The game is fun, but if max level is your goal it's pointless. They will always move the goal line.
-
nothing, I just want 310 on one character, lol
-
The Cabal raid comeing next year
-
2 RepliesThere is no point, it's just a goal some people want to reach. My goal is 311+ on all characters. After that I'm just gonna chill and help & hang out with clan mates.
-
I think it's more psychological than anything else. You want to be the highest level possible for purposes of toon ego lol
-
So you can be the biggest, baddest player in the game for the remaining month before the next level increase.

21 Replies320 Light is just a "carrot". To be 320 light makes no huge difference nor is needed. But then again everyone that plays a video game wants to complete it and at the moment reaching 320 Light would be somewhat "completing" the game. Also impossible due to terrible drops. That's why they created the worst "level up" system yet. They came good with HoW leveling system just to give everyone a slap in the face with this new terrible system. Forever 29 was much better then this crap. The point is not to reach level 320 in a week because nobody wants that, but at least give the player a sense of satisfaction by completing end game content. Raid and overall drops are terrible for TTK. You go do a Raid and you get trolled with a 310-313 weapon/armor...when you already a 314-316 Light...how pathetic is that? Bungie and their artificial longevity is just plain pathetic. Why not progressively give us slow drops higher than what we have? I'll give an example: We are 312 Light and go do a raid, we get weapons or armor that are 314 for example...you'll feel satisfied because at the end of the Raid you'll reach 313 or 314 Light...you'll still be grinding for the 320 Light but at least you'll feel you're playing towards that goal. After that do the next Raid and maybe get a 315 weapon/armor and so on...I'm actually ok with being trolled with a 311 weapon/armor once (being 315 Light) in between two or three weeks but every week? Fûck off Devs, seriously? We need the feel of satisfaction and that our time is being valued with decent drops but at the moment it's all a troll and a bad joke. I'm pretty sure 98% of the players base is not even close to being 320 Light. 320 is not need to actually play the game and it doesn't limit us to complete Raids or crucible but it certainly would gives us that good feeling of accomplishment. I do want to reach Light 320 just because I am a completionist. Bungie, fix those drops for the love of the Traveler!!! End rant.

To be prepared for the upcoming challenges we will face in our near future.

2 RepliesThere isn't one. People are obsessed over numbers.

2 RepliesTo have bragging rights about how much time you've wasted on destiny
-
There is no point to be max level and never was or ever will be. It is just for bragging rights in the game and that is it.
-
PVE's hardest content is the Oryx fight at 310, so from my understanding of how light works. It makes zero difference between being rank 311 or 320. PVP content with level differences can use higher levels, but it seems the differences between a 311 and a 318 are minimal enough to not even make a bullet difference in pvp, i.e. Still takes same number of bullets to kill.

No point at all. Im 33 and 7.
Blops3 and FO4
.... to be 320. >:|

1 ReplySo you're only 100 more light from being 420 -airhorns and screaming of mlg in the background-
