Got all three of my characters to rank 5. All ghost and strange coins and motes. I feel like I wasted my time.

You got something on all 3 when you got back to orbit and you just don't realize it. Unless you got something bad and just didn't bother mentioning it. On both of my rank 5 packages, my rewards didn't show up either time until I returned to orbit, got a 313 hunter helmet and 317 Titan mark

I did go to orbit. Got my rewards. I feel silly now. Got a 317 helmet for my Hunter and 317 boots for my Titan.
