Escape The Fate song in relation to Halo.
Ok, me and my friends have a growing suspicion that The Guillotine by Escape The Fate has some sort of relation to Halo because of its lyrics. Has this song been used in some sort of Halo soundtrack or are these lyrics just be coincidence, or maybe Halo inspired this song?

It's clearly about halo, they've even witten and spoken about it in interviews. It's not a coincidence that it so happened to have 'covenant' and 'blackout' and 'spartan' etc. They where purposely put in there to be a song about halo. As for their song called 'The Flood' it is not related to halo in anyway. The flood is clearly meaning water as they are always mentioning not being able to swim. They're not saying you can't swim through he Halo 3 flood.
