The -blam!- is This Shite 1HKO Blink Strike?
Yeah, Hammer of Sol might be OP.
But anyone want to tell me how my last match played, a Bladedancer slid and Blink strike'd me once... and I immediately died mid-Hammer of Sol?
Is this that stupid Backstab perk working from the unintended angles bug all over again?
I thought Bungie fixed this shit but holy -blam!-, I was seriously one shot.
And before you assume he caused me to fly into a wall as a Misadventure, kill feed read as Blink Strike.

Map was Exodus Blue, we were in the far-side room where Special/Heavy spawn.
Can't imagine it was teamfire because pillars in that room break LOS.

Khepri's Sting got you, it does 6x damage to the back.. A Peregrine Greaves would 1HK too.

There's gloves that give you 6x melee damage when stealth/from behind if im correct. If you get hitmidair and for some reason hit a wall at a certain speed you could also die i guess

Backstab with kephris sting. You deserved it haha. Hunter was probably laughing his ass off

The backstab perk was meant as a skillful counter to anything really, especially if the have Khepri's sting. It's meant to be a powerful attack that works from a direct hit on the back, sides (where your ribs would be) or from above.

Was the bladedancer invisible when he attacked you?

2 RepliesBackstab activates when you land it on the head and will deal precision damage. But it shouldn't be possible to one hit you because it does less than a high impact sniper. You probably already took damage and did not heal all your hp back.

2 RepliesBungie's definition of "behind" is totally screwed. I can charge a guardian straight on a 1 hit blink strike them 85% of the time. That being said, I don't believe you can 1 hit a sunbreaker with it. You were likely damaged by something else at the same time, or you're running 0 armor.

Unfortunately you can hit people's head and get the kill, but it's risky and sometimes very rare to get at times

And if I remember correctly there is a pair of exotic gauntlets that increase melee damage while invisible

Bladedancers always have been and always will be complete bastards in PvP. That's why all other classes (including Sunbreakers) can never be OP.

Try maiming a low armour bladed sense Against a sunbreaker the melt is one hit anywhere

It's not just you. I have been 1 hit by it also and the guy was in front of me. It's frustrating sometimes.

I have used the Bladedancer before and have found it glitches quite often where 1 hit KO's are thing.

I have been one hit killed by Blink Strike twice so far. Odd because it used to take two hits, Including Blink Strike.
