I'm not suggesting the lighthouse (unless that's what people want), but it feels strange that going 9-X, which is a trials victory, does not give anything. (BTW every time I say 9-X I mean 1 or 2 losses, not flawless)
If I asked you, "What is Trials of Osiris?" I assume most of you would say something like an elimination style PvP tournament. If I asked what the objective was, you'd again probably say "Go until 9 wins (victory) or 3 losses (eliminated). If this is the case, then why do you get the rewards at 5 and 7 but nothing at 9?
Remember year one? When someone got to 8 wins but they had a loss, they just said "Lets just go get new cards since we won't be flawless anyways." It's still a similar case unless there's a bounty that needs a complete card, even then I see people losing on purpose to finish it faster. What's the point of a 9-win system if there's no reward for 9 wins? That's like having King's Fall drop the main rewards after the daughters and then Oryx was just "for fun".
What do you guys think? Should something be added to getting 9-1/9-2 in trials? If so, what?
An idea for a small change I had was that if you go 9-X, it would refund the passage coins that you used on that card. That would encourage more people to finish, but also to try another run.
