30 min ban on Iron Banner
I propose a 30 minute on those playing Iron Banner that:
1) leave a match prematurely
2) Get 4 kills or less dragging their entire team down.
That last one is controversial, however this is competitive PvP - don't play IB if your going to hinder your team.

No on both. Why should i be punished for leaving a match of teleporting laggers? This is supposed to be competitive so why do I want to play in a match where no one will push for heavy ammo because they're scared?

If I'm ever in your team, I shall let the other team destroy me and then I will leave early. I will also dance on my spawn for easy kills.

Both ridiculous and selfish suggestions. There could be a valid reason for someone leaving, i.e. Internet connectivity issues, and punishing those that may not be as good as you is not going to be taken kindly by the community. Why would bungie do that and risk losing its fanbase over a couple of selfish people? You, my friend, have a very narrow perspective on how things work.

Number 1 i can agree with. Number 2 is waay too ridiculous. Sorry man A non PVPer doing the daily match just for the marks is one thing. Sometimes irritating but still just a game. But banning someone for a poor performance is both short sighted and selfish. They *could* be new to the crucible. They *could* be rubbish but trying to improve. If you don't want a poor random dragging down your team, you should probably hit up lfgs and create a full team for yourself so that you'll have no quitters and you can weed out the crappy ones. But the quitters? Yeah, ban their asses right outta dodge.

It's a dumb ban. Who wants to stay in a game that laggers and incompetent teammates are making impossible to have any fun? I stay in a game, go first, get a good KD, and get nothing. Sixth place gets a 310+ item. I finally get something! It's a 280 shitty handcannon or a 280 terrible roll on my Armor. Like hell I'd keep staying in matches when I know I'm not going to get rewarded for doing good. Players should not get penalized for leaving the game. Deal with laggers and rewarding the last place people, first.

There definitely should be penalties for abandonment. But the crucible needs target practice and unskilled fodder. They should just try to match gaurdians up with players who have similar skill levels. And dedicated servers. But that last one is wishful thinking. Although destiny's budget should be able to support it... especially after 3 mandatory expansions and everest trading

They would have to be fairly flexible rules. I joined a game last night then had to leave immediately to go celebrate my sister's birthday with the family. I thought I had more time but didn't and really don't think I should be punished for that.

8 RepliesYou should be banned off the forums untill you're old enough to realise people with kids, sometimes very small babys play Destiny. If you are a parent your kids come first. Won't be the first time I've had to pull out of a game because the rugrat got her head stuck under the sofa.
