30 min ban on Iron Banner
I propose a 30 minute on those playing Iron Banner that:
1) leave a match prematurely
2) Get 4 kills or less dragging their entire team down.
That last one is controversial, however this is competitive PvP - don't play IB if your going to hinder your team.

1) there are many reasons why it may happen that are perfectly valid. It'd be nice if people left only for reasons not destiny related but well... 2) Too simplistic and stupid. I've often ended up with 4 kills or less and a K+A/D ratio above 1 this IB simply because my light level wasn't that high yet. And what's even the point of that?

I disagree with both 1 and 2.... Here is why. I have seen people leave matches when the other team lags. I know people who leave matches that have started. FOR example...how many times you are flying to the location in your ship and you hear "Heavy ammo ready"..I am like NOOOOOOO.... Yesterday I spawn in...I see a warlock..before I can even react..."BOOM" he rockets me. I ended up with 1 kill and 3 deaths, because I spawned in with only a couple minutes left in the match. It happens. As for your second point. I have had times where I get on a good start...I get first kill, and I am on a roll. I am leading the boards on my team..but then I get into a funk. I drop to third on the board...and the guy who had a bad start is leading. Can't go by the fist few minutes of the game. I know people that get going when heavy ammo drop. Because that's when they bust their supers. Titans are notorious for this. HOS right when heavy drop. They kill everyone around heavy...pick up heavy to go on a 10 kill streak.

1 ReplyTheres nothing going competitive about level advantages turned on. This is hardly a competitive Playlist. Now, on the other hand a decent competitive Playlist might look like this. Level advantage turned off No Supers Friendly Fire turned on All buffs to player base stats turned off.

2 is defintely a no-no. I've seen matches where the guy at the top of my team was running 2.5kd then we came up against a bunch of lagging sniper nuts and he was barely pulling 3 kills that match. It wasn't him definitely as we still won but, it was brutal! Imagine still getting banned for running into a team of all titans or all rr4 experts!

How about just a red bar... If u get it you are out. Seems simple to me.

To the people saying that it should be happen to people with 4 kills or less, Just stop. Everyone has an off game every now and then. Iron Banner is for everyone, if you don't like that people play it to get the rewards or to have fun, don't play. It's that simple, stop acting like you're the best PvP player out there.

A match premature, a 30 minute ban might be OK. Multiples in a row, or within a certain window, definitely. For the second one, that's tough. I played for a while yesterday and had a couple matches where my K/D was 2.something, with 13ish kills then some there I was .2 with 2 kills and 10 deaths. Lots of other matches were anywhere in between. As long as folks are actually trying to participate, let 'em play.

Destiny is a horrible lottery machine game. You need to be banned for continuing to load it up in your console.

Absolutely not, everyone has bad games, everyone learns at different paces, some people no matter how much they try, just won't get better at pvp, it happens, but they paid for the content and they have just as much right to play it as you or me. Plus at the end of the day, it's a video game, who cares?
