This game is dying. Too much grinding.
I have 1200+ hours on this game and haven't touched it since Fallout 4. Playing Destiny just isn't worth it for the amount of time I have to play video games. The grind is too much and it's unrewarding. Then all these BS updates come which just change the meta of the unplayable lagfest crucible. Not as many play destiny anymore and even less can be bothered to do the raid normal or hard. This game is slowly dying Bungie. Yeah challenge mode will bring a few people back for maybe a week. I might give it a go if I can find enough people. But then after that the future looks very bleak. You'll probably release some overpriced DLC in December and the cycle will continue but is that good enough?

1 ReplyI'm taking a very long break from destiny. I think TTK was the best expansion yet but it took too much of the game away It's an expansion, not a new series. Why is year 1 irrelevant? The new leveling system is way more of a grind than before. Shards and energy were guaranteed ways to level equipment to max light and easy to get each week.

Its once you get to 310+ light, then the rewards which you get over your light level are just to few and infrequent. thats what is killing Destiny in my opinion. They either need to fix it so that you have a better chance of getting gear with better light, or change the infusion system so your gear becomes the same light as the gear you infused it with

Year one: get exotic, say "F*** Yeah!". Year two: get exotic, say " 280? This is bullsh**!!!". You don't spend your time hoping for a weapon. You spend your time hoping for trash to make your go to weapon more effective. They've found a way to make the grind more grindy.

Completely agree. After branching out to different games after an all out addiction to Destiny, I've been finding myself playing it less and less. Won't be long until I forget it exists.

2 RepliesIm enjoying fallout as well, I want to put Destiny back in but can't think of a reason why. Do three raids to get disappointed, do 3 nightfalls to be disappointed, eh, I might log into to get mida and and some of my already earned exotics back which is bullshit. Challenge mode is for emblems and shaders, eh, unless I hear about higher light drops, and actual drops. I need some real changes not just volume changes. 313-314 is where I'll stay.

It's a game. Nothing is rewarding. It's all virtual experience and how you play it. Minecraft will always be my favorite thing to play because 3 or 4 hours will pass and you're in the same dungeon. I play games to take my mind off shit

I haven't been playing destiny myself.. Spending time on fallout and Star Wars... With that said, fallout 4 is already boring to me.. When destiny adds some content I'll be back.. Don't care for the pvp.. Star Wars so much better for pvp.. Dedicated servers and just fun!

Use to have VoG, Crotas end and PoE to get good loot now have only kings falls broken loot system unless you play PvP. So yeah they have killed it themselves.

Sure it does , but at least destiny has top notch Fps mechanics and good graphics . Fallout has Neither. Fun game , don't get me wrong , but next gen game that blows the way the world ?! Ha , not even close . They embarrassed them selves actually . Graphics poor , massive open world ? (Chortle ) shitty gun mechanics .
