How is it fair that stormcallers get fist of havoc and then suddenly get their already pretty good super?
And yes I know sunbreaker is more OP so don't go turning this into a 'sunbreaker pls nerf' thread because im sure that everyone is sick and tired of hearing it.

7 RepliesThey we are... The prison of elders. Level 34, fighting skolas, kell of kells. "Get to the back!" Screams Xx_pussyXslayer_xX. I pull out my ghost, his blue single eye glaring me through the screen. "ARGH!" I hear xXfûckboi_Xx yell as Skolas kills him. Then I see it. The red bar... Of death. My mic cuts out- lightning swirls and crackles around the room, as "connecting to destiny servers" pops up. "No! We're done! We're all gonna die!" I yell, oy knees, sobbing. I hear a soft chuckle from an unknown source. "not today." And then he appeared. smoggypluto has joined your fireteam. That's not possible! We were already a full team! I see him approach my guardian, Gjallahorn mounted on his glorious shoulder. He reaches out, out of the screen, and forcefully rips out the red connection bar from my gamer tag. I am stunned. He proceeds to physically grab the server warning bar, loading it into his mighty gjallahorn. He fired the mighty projectiles into the mines we were meant to dismantle, destroying them instantly. Slowly, he reached into his pocket, pulling out a snickers bar from the mighty clothing. He loads it into his gjallahorn before jumping into the air, doing a full 360 and I hear a soft murmur of "Snickerpack rounds, bitch" Skolas was instantly vaporised. "get some nuts" he said briskly, before leading us to the mighty treasures of the reef- our greatest reward. Smoggy stands proud before us all, breathes in slowly, and proceeds to urinate on the large chest. "Become legend, guardian". Then he was gone, as quickly as he came. We all recieved gjallahorns from the large, urine-coated chest; one void, one solar, and one arc. all hail Smoggypluto -from the book of a Spartan laser.

You have to be right on top of them, and it does less damage, and you have to spec for it...
-
The range on the lightning bolt is super small, unlike the fist of havoc, assuming you are being legit.
-
If I can direct you you with a thin lighting bolt I shot from mid air you should die if your standing inside of me when I super you should die, what's the problem
-
4 RepliesLet me guess you main hunter, right ? Hunters were whining about titans, now the time has come... warlocks. OK...
-
It's really hard to get more than one person with it
-
1 ReplyIt has to be a 100% hit for it to kill. Its useless
-
9 RepliesI love when some stupid Titan pops a bubble over heavy and the entire team crowds in it thinking I'm charging them like an idiot and it's a free kill. Say goodbye! Landfall over the bubble pops the bubble and blinds everyone inside! Hold down the super button for another 3 seconds and you have six kills! What's that? You still have the entire super left?! Then charge their spawn and get a -blam!-ing seventh column because -blam!- yeah! Stormcaller is better than hammer, you can't deny it.
-
12 RepliesI main hunter, and storm callers are not OP at all. It is nowhere near FoH, you have to be like Titan melee distance away for landfall to kill so don't go bitching about landfall, plus the actually super is very short ranged so it's far From OP, I actually think it's super balanced. And I know you said don't turn this into a sunbreaker nerd thread but sunbreakers super last as long, if not longer than stormcaller, sunbreakers can legit cross map you with their hammers, hammers track you, and they regen health with every kill, it's OP.
-
Landfall isn't nearly as powerful, doesn't have as big of a radius, and only effects things on the ground not in the air
-
2 RepliesWell land fall has less range than FoH Also our animation for Stormtrance is slow so we need SOME protection while casting it.
-
2 RepliesSunbreaker pls nerf
-
I agree, it should only take away part of your health
-
Because it's flashy and cool. It's also risky. You have to literally jump over your enemy to kill them with it. If you think about it, it's almost easier to activate your super from behind cover and shock a whole fireteam yourself.
-
2 RepliesWe would die instantly. The animation is too long. If you activated it directly in front of someone it would be very hard for you to get out of that situation alive
-
Cause year two make year one supers look like shit
-
6 RepliesOh geez, here we go..... first sunbreakers, now stormcallers, what's next? Necrochasm too OP?
-
4 RepliesEdited by CobraKye6: 11/25/2015 10:03:59 PMYou mean like this https://account.xbox.com/en-us/gameclip/00cc7cd1-575d-4731-a7a8-e021674625fd?gamerTag=CobraKye6&scid=37770100-f9ae-4b80-9dad-7c1d0ec14469

The range on Landfall is pretty pathetic to be honest. Someone has to be rubbing themselves up on you to get a kill. I just use it to blind Sunbreakers, Bladedancers, and Self res Warlocks.
-
It's not anywhere near the range of a FoH
-
Because if they didn't they would die as fast as a golden gun turning on his super in front of someone.
-
Edited by cheap thri11s: 11/25/2015 9:38:37 PMI dunno, maybe cause fist of havoc does something similar and blade dancers didn't have any consistency in that specific elemental type?
-
4 RepliesBecause otherwise we would just get shotgunned to death instantly if we popped our supers near someone.
-
Hmmm, well let me answer your ridiculous question. Its because the developers wanted to give stormcallers an AoE option when activating their super. Now since I answered, let me ask you a question. Why do you have to totally exaggerate the effects of landfall to compare a not-even-comparable FoH Super to it? Its like asking, "Why did bungie give hunters a ranged melee (throwing knife) that can hit you100ft farther than a warlocks melee?". Yea, I know, sounds ridiculous doesn't it....
-
Because it's fun to float over unsuspecting players like a random storm cloud and just shoot lighting down on em
-
I hate it never works for me
