Snipers are becoming an epidemic. Limit special ammo.
Bungie has taken action on shotguns but has done nothing about snipers. The major problem is snipers can play through the whole match with nothing but a sniper. Special ammo my ass. There's nothing special about it if you can get it through the whole match. It should drop along with heavy ammo so you would have to choose which one you will pick up.
Also, i find myself fighting snipers up close to mid-range. Players will say to keep out of sniper lanes, but snipers are everywhere. There is no escape. Lol. It should be impossible for snipers to be able to kill you at a close range. Snipers are a long distance weapon. It's like a shotgun killing someone from across the map.
Finally, snipers don't seem to be bothered by being shot at. I can blast a sniper with whatever weapon, including heavy machine guns, and they just stand there and snipe me in the head. Not sure if this is lag or what. But it's infuriating. You should not be able to snipe under fire. That's why snipers belong at long distances. I'm not really calling for a nerf just limit special ammo to where you can't troll with your special through the whole match.
Edit 1: Lol, look at all the snipers giving me hate. Sniper rifles are on the chopping block at Bungie headquarters as we speak. Just a matter of time before something is done. It's Ok, if it makes you feel better to attack me then go ahead. Come at me haters.

Atleast they have a high skillcap (and don't tell me that because of high AA they don't have a relatively high skill cap, I wouldn't mind the AA getting nerfed either but unless you are actually a sniper your opinion on the skill needed to use one is regrettably invalid)

Have you tried sniping while getting hit by a pulse rifle, it's impossible, the flinch caused by PR's is ridiculous

Snipers haven't changed much since the beginning. Don't give me that aim assist nonsense because a lot of year 1 snipers had around that much if not more than the amount now. If it's taken this long to complain about snipers in general (and not perks on them like Final Round), then people just have nothing else to complain about.

Special ammo should be taken out of game. Start with 6 or 10 rounds.

It really falls back on the pulse rifle meta. People stay at distance and camp long sight lines despite the CQC nature of the maps simply because other than shotguns what are you going to use effectively at close range?

Don't stand half way across the map and be pissed when a sniper kills you. Try avoiding a whole team of AWP'S in CS source back in the day. That thing could toe shoot you and kill you.

3 RepliesNearly all the maps are CQC centric. Snipers have a extremely limited range of motion in terms of positioning on map. If you can't see that and counter it then sorry about your luck
