Snipers are becoming an epidemic. Limit special ammo.
Bungie has taken action on shotguns but has done nothing about snipers. The major problem is snipers can play through the whole match with nothing but a sniper. Special ammo my ass. There's nothing special about it if you can get it through the whole match. It should drop along with heavy ammo so you would have to choose which one you will pick up.
Also, i find myself fighting snipers up close to mid-range. Players will say to keep out of sniper lanes, but snipers are everywhere. There is no escape. Lol. It should be impossible for snipers to be able to kill you at a close range. Snipers are a long distance weapon. It's like a shotgun killing someone from across the map.
Finally, snipers don't seem to be bothered by being shot at. I can blast a sniper with whatever weapon, including heavy machine guns, and they just stand there and snipe me in the head. Not sure if this is lag or what. But it's infuriating. You should not be able to snipe under fire. That's why snipers belong at long distances. I'm not really calling for a nerf just limit special ammo to where you can't troll with your special through the whole match.
Edit 1: Lol, look at all the snipers giving me hate. Sniper rifles are on the chopping block at Bungie headquarters as we speak. Just a matter of time before something is done. It's Ok, if it makes you feel better to attack me then go ahead. Come at me haters.

I remember the only reason I started sniping is because I used to be a blink shotgunner. This would draw me a Lot of hate mail from users usually saying stuff like, "Ever heard of a primary?" So I switched gears and forced myself to learn how to snipe (because I sucked at it). I equipped my no land beyond, and an old LDR and went into battle. After a while (a long while) I finally got the hang of it. Come trials, since I was the best sniper out of my clan, I was always asked first to get to the lighthouse with them. I would normally rock no land beyond, and a shotgun so I was dangerous both up close and far away. Other clan members saw my success I had in these combinations, and tried it themselves, but they couldn't do as well. Why? Because they had no EXPERIENCE on how to snipe. All these people crying about snipers on the forums don't realize it's not something u can just pick up and do well with. I guarantee half the reason people started sniping in the crucible is so they could prove to people they could still kick their arse with a precision weapon rather than a loud boom stick.

Well with another shotgun nerf, expect to see more of the snipe academic. For me personally, getting sniped is way more infuriating than getting shotgun blasted.

I agree.. It's gotten way out of hand, the use of snipers. Though, Bungie likes it that way. They're giving the 1000 yard penis to everyone to promote the use of cheap tactics. It's sad, cause PVP can get pretty fun at times, but most times it is annoying and frustrating.

The issue is that everyone runs snipers and don't know how to hit headshots, but team shots make kills easy, so shotguns stay where they are, snipers stay where they are, and fusion rifles get buffed, leaving an equal amount of people using each, so it isn't just one it by shotguns in close quarters, or insta kills by snipers at long range

You say snipers can play the whole game with nothing but a sniper? You tell the snipers that when you get up close and personal to them. You want to reduce snipers getting ammo stop camping in areas and run around the map picking up the special ammo along with your team. Snipers won't snipe for long then. Lastly stop trying to out snipe snipers in areas of the map where snipers look to pick off people unless you're using a sniper.

Atleast they have a high skillcap (and don't tell me that because of high AA they don't have a relatively high skill cap, I wouldn't mind the AA getting nerfed either but unless you are actually a sniper your opinion on the skill needed to use one is regrettably invalid)
