Snipers are becoming an epidemic. Limit special ammo.
Bungie has taken action on shotguns but has done nothing about snipers. The major problem is snipers can play through the whole match with nothing but a sniper. Special ammo my ass. There's nothing special about it if you can get it through the whole match. It should drop along with heavy ammo so you would have to choose which one you will pick up.
Also, i find myself fighting snipers up close to mid-range. Players will say to keep out of sniper lanes, but snipers are everywhere. There is no escape. Lol. It should be impossible for snipers to be able to kill you at a close range. Snipers are a long distance weapon. It's like a shotgun killing someone from across the map.
Finally, snipers don't seem to be bothered by being shot at. I can blast a sniper with whatever weapon, including heavy machine guns, and they just stand there and snipe me in the head. Not sure if this is lag or what. But it's infuriating. You should not be able to snipe under fire. That's why snipers belong at long distances. I'm not really calling for a nerf just limit special ammo to where you can't troll with your special through the whole match.
Edit 1: Lol, look at all the snipers giving me hate. Sniper rifles are on the chopping block at Bungie headquarters as we speak. Just a matter of time before something is done. It's Ok, if it makes you feel better to attack me then go ahead. Come at me haters.

There's two different types of snipers. There's the ones that make a living hardscoping doorways, wait for a head to enter cross hairs, pull trigger. These are considered the noobs And then there's the Kjhoveys. The ones with actual skill. These guys can make any shot from anywhere consistently. You'll see these types using NLB alot.

But there's nothing wrong with snipers... LITC is irritating but not an issue. I mean it's funny everyone thinks they can snipe but that's about it.

Are you seriously whining about sniper rifles? If someone can kill you up close with a sniper they are probably really good, you suck, or maybe they got lucky.

3 RepliesShotguners just run up to you and slide. And they sprint around the map getting kills. Snipers wait for kill and don't usually sprint and slide to get the kill.

6 RepliesPeople never whined about snipers year one, even though they had high AA and special ammo drops were even higher then they are now. You know why no one complained? Because they all used thorn as a counter sniper because it literally 2 shotted across nearly any distance in the game. Now they can't do that and they can't counter snipe with their shotguns so the only course of action is to cry nerf, even though there is literally nothing you can nerf about snipers. Don't say AA cause you're a moron who doesn't know how the game works if you actually think aa does that much.

2 RepliesJust take all the aim assist off snipers then you will actually have to aim at the head instead of being rewarded a kill for not being exactly dead accurate like snipers should be. Also removed the kill on res.

No one complained about them til now. Stfu kid. It's people like you that keep having weapons get nerfed to hell. Only thing I can see would be to lower aim assist even though it doesn't even pull you on their head. Just makes it a tiny bit larger. If you can't snipe, practice. If a dude is really good at sniping, avoid sniper lanes and flank him.

Someone remind me, it's been a while since I played, but when you get hit, it doesn't knock you out of ADS does it? IF this is an actual issue, and it would be up to Bungie to determine that, then I propose that when under fire, it would force the sniper out of ADS. Not that one shot flinch that 343 used in Halo 5, but a few shots and you're knocked out. But make it damage based. That way the only weapon that might be able to pull it off at sniper range would be a scout rifle. Other than that, while it won't eliminate sniping at close range, it can hinder the snipers ability under fire to make a shot since they would have to either get a lucky quick scope or switch to their primary weapon. Mind you I'm only stating that this should be implemented if in fact it is an issue.
