I for one am starting to get pissed off at this. I main a hunter of all elements, mainly bladedancer in PvP.
Any way, I'm sick and tired of having a hammer being throw at a Titan feet killing me. Does any one agree with me that Titan should insta kill them selves (or deal a lot of damage back) if they hit themselves in the blast?
Hunters trip-mines kill hunters if it happen, Titan lightning grenade does too. I mean my OWN nova bomb has killed me on my warlock!
SO WHY ARE SUNBREAKERS IMMUNE TO THIS?
Discuss!?
Edit 1: OK reading the comments tells me that people hate that fact they don't take damage, ok how about they take damage UNLESS they have the sunspot perk?

7 RepliesROFL, if they kill you by throwing their hammers at their own feet, guess what. CAUTERIZE! You guys bitch way to much. All you -blam!-en kids need to go play splatoon. Go see how imbalanced that game is. "THEY KILLED ME BECAUSE THEY RAN ME OVER WITH A PAINTROLLER!" "They killed me because they had a gun that shoots a -blam!-en paint tornado!" All you guys that want nerfs would be the same ones bitching about those weapons in a -blam!-en Nintendo game.

I enjoy a sunspot build so no
-
that's a paradoxical situation. they get health on kills, so when they kill themselves they get health back...

Edited by Sunday2313: 11/23/2015 3:06:45 PMYou know titans have a perk so that they throw the hammer at their feet make a sunspot and can get more armor right? Maybe that's why they can't hurt themselves.

Those Hammers should be Melee only and I wouldnt care about overshields and shit #fixed

4 RepliesEdited by KellOfJollySoda: 11/23/2015 3:15:16 AMYou lost me at 'I main a Hunter'....... 'mainly Bladedancer'
-
If nova bombs and grenades kill me, hammers should too. I've killed myself probably 100s of time with the damn novabomb...
-
I don't pvp often and all I have to say is this: Who the -blam!- does that?!
-
Silly
-
Id say the initial impact should self kill but the remaining sunspot shouldn't damage them so they keep their crutch overshield but yeah shouldn't be able to drop one at their feet for instant shield.
-
2 RepliesIn the right (ideally wrong) circumstances you can kill yourself with golden gun. The Titan needs at least one super that damages them when the effect is too close. Warlocks and Hunter's both have it on at least one super.
-
It'd make sunspot builds completely useless unless a titan stands still. A good percentage of the titan subclass would need not only to be nerfed but completely replaced.
-
ridiculous
-
3 RepliesSome issues. One: the entire sunapot mechanic would have to be changed, as it kind of requires that. Two: it's a very small minority of kills being right at the feet. I thought the issue was the mobility with flaming hammers of doom, now the problem is close up kills?
-
2 RepliesFine. Make hammers do the same self damage as a nova bomb to a warlock: about 5-10%
-
8 RepliesIf the hammer one shots enemies it should one shot the Titan too.
-
1 ReplyThey just need to lower the defense buff of hammer of soul to 50% from 55%, or 45% like the bladedancer because hammer of soul also has a perk that regenerates health.
-
5 RepliesGrenades will kill the player that throws them. Nova bombs kill the player that throws them. Why not keep it consistent?
-
4 RepliesOk so if they have the health regain perk on it will be like nothing happened unless they are taking enemy fire. But yes they should take damage.
-
3 RepliesYou are stupid
-
11 RepliesThere is a perk or perks that give bonuses while in a sunspot created by your hammer so why would something like that not kill you but throwing the hammer at your feet to make a sunspot kill you and with your logic a warlock should die if he nova bombs a wall in front of him
-
4 RepliesTitan grenades can kill you just like any other classes grenades do that part of your argument is retarded. As for your nova bomb sounds like it glitched or something. Irrelevant. And your nerf plan? Brain dead retarded. Basically you need to make it to where when we go super to super we have no chance to fight back. You got a crutch using bladedancer charging, he gets in close, you can't hammer him cause that'll just kill you too. Yeah. Sounds real balanced. Give me a break.
-
3 RepliesThen Nova bomb should kill a warlock when they hit the ground with it?
-
8 RepliesIf a golden gunner explodes his enemies, does he take damage? If a warlock throws fire bolts at his feet does he take damage?
these are legit questions
Hammers are like rockets. Rockets can kill yourself. A Sunbreaker survives a rocket with a bit of energy left (which is ridiculous). So a Sunbreaker should damage but not kill himself with his own hammer.
