Remember when destiny forced pulse rifles on us?
I know everyone who played the game from day 1 remember nobody played with pulse rifles because auto rifles and hawkmoon destroyed them lol. They literally nerfed the shit out of guns and I believe buffed pulse rifles just so people would play with them. Well guess what bungie ,you -blam!-ing idiots , you got your wish and we as players adjusted and played with your shitty pulse rifles. Then we realized that you had no idea what you were doing and proceeded to secretly and not so secretly love pulse rifles because they were -blam!-ing incredible.( hopscotch, messenger, strangers, evergreen ,timepiece,-I could go on and on) Goodbye hawksaw, Nerwins mercy,etc. The problem is the -blam!-ing forums. I've never seen so many posts about nerfing guns, powers etc in a video game in my entire life. I'm 41. People might say I'm overreacting but that's not the point . The point is they made us play with pulse rifles and now they decided they need a nerf. When we they realize it's not just the gun. I'm not talking about myself but there are literally players out there you could put a water pistol in their hands and they would still be at the top of the leaderboards while everyone else has m-16s. Lmao. No matter what they do someone will be crying on the forums for a nerf or buff. As soon as this roll out it will start all over. Please destiny from all your fans just let us enjoy the game you have given us. The only thing that needs nerfed are these forums . Sorry I got a little off topic but bottom line : nobody used pulse rifles we can't have that. Now everyone uses pulse rifles we can't have that . In my opinion this has been the best iron banner ( last one also) only because I never got killed consistently by any one gun except one special handgun ( they already nerfed in the ground so I smile every time it kills me) and for this iron banner I've been killed by zhallo more than anything and I love it !!! In two iron banners I've probably been killed by red death or bad juju less than ten times. The game has felt balanced and I enjoyed it. This is just my opinion and of course everyone should wait and see but I find the whole thing comical at this point . Still love you destiny but since you keep listening to the forums how about a weapons range at the reef? It would be amazing and the reef would be valid again.

I ageee, I've learned to use pulse rifles to survive in the crucible. First it was all fate, then Messenger, then hopscotch. After the Taken king launched I couldn't find a pulse that had that same feel as the other three. I finally get one, a Nirwin's mercy, and it will be nerfed. I'll be fine beacuse I was around during the first round of auto rifle supremacy , and have the suros, supercell, summoner, etc. Think about this though...if bungie kept things the way they are, there would be no reason to keep grinding. Once you get a Nirwin's, A ToO pulse, or a god tier roll Hawksaw.. what else would you need?

Instead of nerfing the string guns they should buff the weaker ones , hunt instead they do both then it creates a new meta

I still use my scouts and I don't have a problem with pulses. There will always be a gun someone is moaning about.

2 RepliesAmen my friend. And to all the people saying Bungie has the data blam off. Bungie chooses what to nerf based solely on cry baby's so they can keep them happy and playing. So my theory to the. Cry baby's is just GGS. Cause a new meta will come out and ur hey will still get wrecked.

It works good all, its not only pulse, and because there are good pulse legendary we can use some good exotics in the special and heavy loadout. Loving my invective

1 ReplyPulses are too strong, and Bungie has had enough data to see it. For all the matches of IB I played this week I can only recall 3 times of being killed by a primary that wasn't a pulse rifle, and even then it was only by exotic ARs. As bad as the whining here may seem it really does help steer the game in a more enjoyable way(thankfully more frequently than 7 months)

2 RepliesYes it's there fault, but at the same time why have 3 different kind of primary if no one uses them. It shouldn't be that hard to balance all of them they have just done a terrible job I feel like they are learning as they go. I do think it's needed because pulse are just ridiculous instead of thorn and tlw being the meta they made the easiest gun and with ridiculous range the best gun in the game
