I think more balance & variety is good instead of everyone using the same guns all the time

They never seem to get it right. Instead of nerfing one and buff others ..buff the rest to par. So simple and yet so damn hard for them to get weapon balance working. Watch this time around Scouts will rule pvp. First was Ar and Fr 2nd was Hc and Sg Now is Pr and Snp So next will be scout and side arms. Once again the biggest troll "Bungie"

3 RepliesIt's great. The only thing I disagree with is the Hawkmoon nerf, hand cannons don't have much going for them as it is.
-
1 ReplyI personally think with the meta now bungie should not touch weapons with anything more than 3% increase or decrease. These larger nerfs and buffs cause way to many problems and lead to the different OP gun meta's. I personally would leave pulses where they are. Buff AR's by 3%. Buff scouts by 1-2%. Increase accuracy on handcannons. Leave shotguns where they are at now. Buff fusion rifles by 3%. Snipes are fine. Take that and release it to us and give it a month or 2 and then again make small adjustments.
-
12 RepliesScout + fusion will be the new meta. Shotgun nerf was completely unnecessary.
-
2 RepliesShotguns are going To be nerfed a lot more than it needs To be. They'll be the new useless class of weapons. Fusion/sidearms will rise over them, and snipers will remain the same. Pulse rifles range nerf is needed.. And the damage one... Well, we'll see. The hawkmoon nerf is understandable (otherwise it would be the way above other handcannons) The rest are good calls imo.

I'm looking forward to the hand cannon buff because I have a nice legendary hand cannon I would like to use in crucible (it's on my hunter)
-
The Mythaclast is the only exotic I want that I don't have in my arsenal!
-
1 ReplyOh great. Zhalo supercell is the new trials weapon then?
-
2 RepliesDid anyone else notice that they put pulse rifles back to how they were?

As a PvE guy (and sometimes a little bit a pvp guy) my opinion for the pve side: The shotgun nerf is to much, even for pve Shotguns should have more damage(2x like the previous patch) shotguns should always be high risk high reward For the middle range we can have now Fusion rifles.....I hope.... Pulse, auto rifles: we have to see how they perform in pve.... Handcanons: juppppiiii, still needs more reserve ammo Luck in the chamber on snipers: I can live with that -For the exotics- First curse: I like this, could be awesome gun Fabian strategie: ????? The chaperone: potential to be one of the best guns for damage(if u land precision shoots) Hawkmoon: Wait? WHAT??? Bungie stop smoking.... My thoughts on pvp side: Auto rifles: they can become Op,but we have to wait and see Pulse rifles: I think the nerf are not so bad,it's not a 2 burst kill anymore(Red death) it's a 2.5 burst kill now....it's ok imo Handcanons: ok now I hope my shoots are not RNG.... Shotguns: to much nerf, even if I dislike shotguns players, but this play style should be viable(but right now shotguns are annoying as hell Imo) Fusion rifles: we have to wait and see Luck in the chamber on snipers: I can live with that -For the exotics- The first curse: interesting, could be awesome but not op like the Thorne Fabian strategie: ?????? Hawkmoon: again,Bungie stop smoking.... The chaperone: time will tell... This are my thoughts, don't hate me and I am sorry for bad English By the way...I hope Bungie brings the Vex and necrochasm to year 2 (imagine the necro with the black color from black spindle and deals void damage this time or the Vex with more ammo on the mag and bonus damage against vex Minotaur ...mmmmhhh sweet

Bout time. Wish they'd give HC back those ammo reserves but I'm glad they are tweaking them back up a notch.
-
We should be refunded all materials used to build weapons that get turned to trash.
-
Man we are running in cirkels with this weapon sysytem fist autorifles then hand cannons now pulse rifles I mean can they even namens balanced system i thing not so we just have to wait whats the next best weapon class

3 RepliesThe First Curse... Hype?
-
Looks like a full-circle return to vanilla: autos coming back on top, pulse rifles being returned to their pre-buff damage, etc.
-
I think they are hitting ouse rifles too hard, they're going to pre buff stats now, but hey since they nurfed everything else maybe it will be ok!
-
My thought? Bungie clearly doesn't test/play their own games
-
6 RepliesCan't take the author of the update post seriously as they kept referring to a revolver's cylinder as a magazine. Just further evidence that these cats should be mowing lawns instead of making video games.
-
Terrible. Shotguns are going to be done, and snipers will reign supreme for basically all combat situations. Happy with the auto rifle changes.
-
Shotguns will be completely useless and everyone will complain about auto rifles. Bungie is incapable of balancing this game.
-
Haha so do I but bungie don't know there ass from the elbow so it will never be balanced.
-
9 RepliesIm just happy about the shotgun nerfs.... been needed for a loonnnggg time
-
I agree but think ar's will be used a lot. They should be kept as they are and Pulse rifles brought in line.
-
Agreed . I look forward to it

9 RepliesI'm not liking the upcoming update. Bungie nerfed handcannon when they were the king of crucible, granted thorn and last word were op, but not the rest of the guns. Now they are nerfing pulse rifles because they are the new meta, but when r they gonna realize that one of the weapon type will always be better than others? Pulse rifles are not op, stop nerfing them, instead buff other weapon types!

5 RepliesOn Fabian Strategy "Currently the effect of Front Lines is subtle and requires close attention to notice" Oh that is masterful spin...they can't just come out say it doesn't -blam!-ing work...
