Higher stability while aiming down sights and crouched ;)

I don't know whether overall it is a nerf or a buff for fusion rifles until I get to play with them. I WANT fusion rifles to be good. I've been trying to learn them in their current state, and though it can be very satisfying it still sucks to have someone round a corner on you and shotgun you in so few frames that you never saw them when you were alive. I feel like they are trying to make Fusion rifles APPEALING without making them OP. In their current state they wreck (when you manage to get a shot off) The biggest frustration is the charge time and that ADS doesn't seem to focus the burst in the way I would expect - it seems they are taking steps to remedy these problems so I am happy.

Getting killed by a fusion rifle in crucible is like finding a rainbow. Leave them alone.

3 RepliesYou left out: Increased ADS and Crouched Stability for all Fusion Rifles Increased base damage against AI combatants to 1.25x (was 1.15x) As someone who use them in PvP I have zero issues with the changes, especially given the fact that we have more perks for weapon handling avaiable now. As for Ammo, I could carry an obscene amount of FR ammo. Much, much more than other specials. Even the lower impact Fusion are a one hit kill in PvP at quite good ranges. Fusion rifles don't get used because they require you to think a little more and be more aware than Shotguns. Shotguns are more consistent for most people and with the range during the last tow phases they have been an excellent choice. But a good FR user will melt you over and over.

Well it's not the first time fusion rifles were bothered. The vex mythoclast went from the holy grail of weapons to house shit
-
Goddammit. WHY DO YOU KEEP EMPHASIZING THE NEED FOR STRATEGY, BUT AT THE SAME TIME YOU MAKE IT UNNECESSARILY DIFFICULT TO EVEN BOTHER TRYING?
-
Increasing Stability will reduce shot spread. Increasing range will increase projectile speed. They're being changed, not nerfed.
-
Looks like side arms are moving up in the world.
-
1 ReplyThank god! I might have been shot by one someday. Hasn't happened in months, but you never know!
-
3 RepliesNerfing the Ammo capacity seems insane to me.
-
1 ReplyWhen has bungie not messed something up
-
LOL nobody even uses them anyway. Let's discourage people even MORE!!! How much crack do the Bungie employees smoke?
-

3 RepliesI know. I loved my Thesan FR4. Now it won't be able to compete anymore.
-
1 ReplyHonestly this was the only one that was frustrating. Means my damn Telesto isn't going to be so awesome anymore and that is an insult to the Telesto. Not happy about this one at all.
-
6 RepliesI don't know what their internal tests are showing them, but in my experience nobody uses fusion rifles at all. I have no idea why they would make any negative changes to the poor guns. The only gun type that I see less of is sidearms.
-
Increases=faster noob
-
This was pathetic because no one really used them lmao i honestly dont know how bungie thinks sometimes
-
-
RIP Vex mythoclast
-
2 RepliesThey are raising target acquisition as well as keeping the fusion clusters close together. They will be uber strong
-
3 RepliesDid you not read the increased stability for both ADS and crouching with Fusion rifles?
-
2 RepliesNo one uses them anyways
except for Telesto. Everybody loves Telesto.
I know! Like WTF Bungie just really hates fusion rifles they are already terrible now and now they are gonna be even worse!
