So... do sunbreakers need a nerf?
Curious what you all think with iron banner and trials and it being out for awhile now.
And maybe nerf the super, buff neutral game. Or just nerf it's armor a little bit. Discuss.

14 RepliesStop nerfing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep your crucibabies and your incessant nerfs out of PVE. You all bítch the same way: *insert weapon/loadouts/super* is OP. Fix it Bungie or I quit! It's a scrub crutch. Then, the forums are flooded with new "op" loadouts. All the crucibabies claim it's so awesome until others use them and wreck their faces with them. As a result, they then pollute the forums with all new NERF whining about their "op" loadouts. You know what happens? Everything is a cluster FÚCK because of these parasitic crucibabies.

2 RepliesAfter spending more time in pvp this week than I have in months, I think the clear answer is yes BUT hammers are mostly fine honestly. What needs changing is only CAUTERIZE. Either overshield them on activation or on first kill. Making them impossible to kill with constant regen overshield is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. Other than that, it's not hard to team shoot a sunbreaker down same as a blade dancer or storm caller.

3 RepliesOnly thing I feel needs to be addressed is the Dmg Reduction. 1 headshot from higher impact sniper should kill them & so should 1 Golden Gun shot. Just like every other super. Other than that..they're fine.

10 RepliesI feel that they need a 1% armor decrease while in their super. A full armored Sun breaker in his super has about 2% health left after a sniper round to the head. It should only take one shot from a high-impact sniper rifle.

13 RepliesJust my opinion but I think the warlock melee and yes the hammer need fixing. I'm only an avg player so others would know better but it should be 2 hits for a lock melee kill and sunbreakers should for sure have slightly lower defense...or remove the hammer tracking so more skills required just some thoughts

2 RepliesI don't think is needs a nerf on power or duration. The full health after every kill probably needs to go though. Personally, I have had no problem killing them with either Nova Bomb or Stormtrance. They are rather slow and easy to dodge.

3 RepliesIf they nerf it then they should also: Reduce armour for a Sunsinger in Radiance Reduce range for Warlock melee Reduce the amount of time a Stormcaller is in their super Reduce aim assist stat for Golden Gun Allow Smoke grenades to poison but not to slow opponents Decrease movement speed for Bladedancer Reduce the amount of damage caused by Shoulder Charge If you're going to nerf one super might as well nerf them all.

Only think it may need imo ...that is kinda broken is the health regen i main a titan ...there should be a cool down for pvp only not pve pbe it help alot but pvp yes make it have 2-3 sec cd itll be fine after that

5 RepliesI don't think they need a massive Nerf but I do think they are a little overpowered. When you hear that hammer you run away from the first skull you see, I don't so that with any other special. It just needs dialling back a little bit I reckon.

I feel like the ones complaining are the same people complaining about litc because they get killed by a single body shot that had an increase in damage. Seriously lets go over the fact that unless everyone is huddled on top of each other the fist of panic I mean havoc is useless the shield does not help much for killing people even with weapons of light. On average Titans probably had 2 kills per super. That's much less than Warlocks had with nova bomb or Hunters had with blade dancer. Let them have their moment in the sun its a ten year game at some point every class will be on top. The abilities can't stop here or it's going to get boring. Quit nerfing stuff so much. At best a damage increase when they have the over shield perk equipped is all that needs done. If they don't have over shield they're pretty easy to take down if your not their first target.

Honestly, yes. I used to be cool with the Sunbreaker, but when I get killed times and times again with it, I have begun to be really frustrated with the subclass.

31 RepliesCauterize should not exist. So many Titans try to say the super is "useless" without it. Are Radiance, Stormtrance, Golden Gun, and (Quiver) Shadowshot useless? No? And then they'll try to compare HoS to Arc Blade. At which point I realize that I can't argue with stupid.
