Is anyone else doing horrible in iron banner?
I mean I'm usually not this bad.
Idk what's going on. Like I just went positive for the first time in about 5 games.

Yeah man. I've never done this bad in any IB, or crucible for that matter. Some games I'll go 2.0+... then I'll hit a streak of below .9 ...it grinds my gears.

Yeah, I have only played a handful of matches thus far, but I've been stinking it up big time. I am usually not [i]that[/i] bad. I'd like to blame the fact that I have been playing some CoD and Battlefront, so I am a bit rusty. But I actually think that it is that a good portion of the general Destiny population has taken a break and only the more hardcore players are left. Just my thought.

Same I'm not graded PVP bit this go round I seem to really be shit, I wish I could use the damn auto rifle those were fun not a big fan of the pulse rifles

Majority of deaths are from Smite of Merain(both versions) and Red Death, shotguns and Hammers. Hammers everywhere. I'd rather have Trials back right now to be honest.

I'm doing better than when it was control. You just need to know the maps and it's pretty easy to pile up kills whilst limiting deaths

1 ReplyMe... I don't know what's happening to me. But something funny: I can't do +20 kills BUT my k/d is +1.10 or 2.0 sometimes. Osiris give to me the ability to run but not to kill haha.

2 RepliesI played really well the first night and then started decent last night and then basically got rolled. Lots of lag though with people jumping all over the place. That being said there were some matches that were fine and I just got outplayed.

Every match I've joined my teammates have screamed Leeeeeeroy Jeeeenkins and rushed forward. Immediately getting splattered all over the map and then we all spawn like headless chickens in different places. Rinse and repeat.... = loss. Not fun at all.

Here's my iron banner experience: Start off on top of my team's leaderboard and stay there = loss Start off on top of my team's leaderboard and start to become middle = win or loss Start off on bottom of my team's leaderboard and start to do better = win

I am getting absolutely destroyed in this iron banner, literally bottom every game, I have no idea why? (new weapons and new maps I guess)

Finally, a forum where I can complain about this brand new IB. Personally, I got used to doing Control in IB. Clash is a fun mode as well but it doesn't quite fit this event. In the last couple of games, I've noticed these things: - winning team camp and form blockades to stay on top. They stay in caves or tunnels with few entrances. Big fireteams own this way - speaking of fireteams, single players often leave the fight because of fireteams (lame) - Clash gives most players freedom to go wild with snipers, camp and flank all the time. Not a bad thing but there's nothing keeping them from abusing the system. - Clash is open to all maps. Says enough. Good luck hunting for kills in maze-like maps

I only had time for a few games so far but I won 3-4 games straight with my gunslinger yesterday and couldn't win any with my sunbreaker today I spawned into 2 losing games with my gunslinger and only had time for 2 games with my sunbreaker today...ill try my voidwalker or stormcaller tomorrow

was running golden gun hunter, rarely used my super and still went 1.6 and above every match (even the ones we lost). Best match was 4.7 and that was all with randoms and going against full fireteams

I blame the lag. And my teammates for killing the enemies too fast.
