PLEASE BE PATIENT I'M TRYING MY BEST TO RESPOND TO EVERYONE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!* Hey fellow Guardians just thought I'd make a quick post putting it out there that I am willing to Sherpa through King's Fall. Although I cannot do it tonight but I will be on tomorrow and available to sherpa on request so long as I'm not in the middle of anything in particular. I'm a Light 299 Titan and I have finished the raid and beat Oryx, I was Light Runner for my team.. feel free to check out the emblem and my Pulse Rifle. The only thing I ask is that you be willing to be patient, good communication, be open to suggestions, and do not be, for lack of a better word.. an asshole. I'm also sure my brother would be willing to Sherpa with me, he is Light 299 Hunter and was in my raid team and I have a few others as well depending on the size of tbe team that needs to be sherpa'd. Oryx was challenging, but the whole raid was incredibly fun and I love Destiny and the community and would love to help cool people experience the "elite" PvE aspects of Destiny. Feel free to message me and we can talk and work things out if you'd like to take a stab at felling The Taken King! On a quick side note: Please don't message me and waste my time.. be at least ready to go into the raid.. some things you should work on getting to get ready.. A good primary like a 290 Boolean Gemini (which can be got from a quest.. finishing The Taken War: Petra and then the Wolves of Mars you get the quest for it) or a 290 Suros or 290+ legendary. The highest Light sniper rifle you can get.. preferrably 295 for Oryx but before that it isn't really necessary. Heavy Machine Guns seems to work better in this raid than Rocket Launchers because there are a lot of parts where everyone is grouped together and could easily kill yourself with a Rocket Launcher although having one definitely won't hurt. There is a chance, if RNG is good to you, that your light level will go up a bit as you go through the raid from the loot drops and I can also point out 3 hidden chests that we can get along the way. In my opinion this is the best raid so far and is really fun but also really challenging. I know the raid has only been out for a few days but I'm sure there are a lot of teams and people stuck at various parts throughout the raid so whether you just need some help with a specific part or boss or from a specific part on or you would just like to do a fresh run I'm willing to help with any part and I will do my best to help guide teams through with the best strategies I know and/or any tips I can provide. I would also be willing to help answer any questions fellow guardians may have or even help them run strikes or Court of Oryx to gear up for the raid. I am in awe of the amount of requests and positive responses I have received on the forums and through Xbox Live messages. I just want to thank all of you for being patient with me as I never expected to get so many requests but am happy I did. I will continue to update this post regularly so please everyone looking to run keep checking back! **RAID GROUP UPDATE - SATURDAY SEPT. 26TH! -- Due to a fiber optic line being cut somewhere, presumably yesterday, my internet was up and down all day yesterday and I couldn't stay on most times long enough to even stabilize in orbit so I didn't get to run with any groups that I had told I could run on Friday. I apologize to all of them and am going to try and push everything back a day if that works for everyone. Once again I appreciate everyone being patient.. yesterday was so infuriating as my brother and I didn't figure out what was going on until late last night when we checked the website of our ISP and found out.** ***UPDATE - SUNDAY SEPT. 27! -- Still having some issues with my internet although they seem to be settling out a bit. My brother and I disconnected his router and wired his Xb1 directly into the modem and it seems to be more stable. We managed to run Deathsingers and Oryx with a group last night (Sat. Sept. 26th). My Warlock is my 3rd character and is now raid ready so if I can get a stable connection I might try and run her through the raid before reset. I was busy all morning with personal stuff and haven't been on yet so I will let everyone know what's up once I get on and get some play time in today!***
