I don't farm for glimmer. At least rarely I do. I've managed to have enough resources most of the time, with a couple days drought of parts in the first month of ttk but now I'm fine and don't even need anything and just getting nothing but surplus parts now. Still I find it completely backwards in their thinking. People complaining about weapon parts here and there, then they nerfed drop rate... Along with motes and strange coins. People complain more and instead of reversing their change, they let us buy them with glimmer. I mean if I ever had to buy weapon parts id probably start running into glimmer issues but I don't upgrade every weapon I find nor keep more weapons than I really need or never use them much.
