Best way to maximize weapon damage/scavenge for guns in Fallout 4?
I'm pretty new to Fallout (never played before), and while I'm having loads of fun. But I'm having trouble in the weapons department. I only have a few weapons
[spoiler]modded 10mm pistol, modded short barrel DB shotgun, short laser musket, an SMG, and the minimum from one of the first missions[/spoiler]
I've modded some of them, but I'm running out of ammo for them. I'm shooting at everything that moves, and I either wind up wasting ammo, or not doing enough damage and dying. Any suggestions on gun scavenging or crafting? Help a noob out

3 RepliesEdited by Tuxx: 11/17/2015 1:18:23 PMCheck everywhere, and stray from the paths and roads. There are little homes, schools, etc everywhere to explore. Also, get the perk that allows you to find more ammo. It will really come in handy. The gun perks will help too. There's one to help maximize damage for most weapon types (heavy weps, automatic, semi auto pistols and rifles, etc).
