Interested to see how the community rates the taken king now. Add an explanation for your answer if you folks want.

1 Reply8 if you consider it just a DLC. 5 if you consider it a real expansion. Also don't be one of those posters who has to act all excited every 100 comments. We are just replying to a post. We aren't showing up to your Sweet 16 but that's what it sounds like when you do that.

8 It's a decent expansion, considering the size of it and how much it offers. But time-gated exotics over very long periods of time are just plain stupid. I know Bungie wants to keep players interested, but they should be releasing new exotics over the course of 2 weeks each.

4 Replies4. If I had no frame of reference from year one, I'd have given it a 7. The grind has no point. None of the daily, let alone weekly, events serve a purpose after 310 (possibly 300). The weapons are terrible and the drop rate is worse. I have all, but only use 2 exotics (ToM, spindle) and that's in the raid. I've also never heard more disappointment in raid rewards than this year. I loved year one, loved the grind. Now the grind is unrewarding and what's worse is that there isn't the content to support the effort. You get to 310+....now what? Nothing requires that light. The raid is a cake walk with a decent team. So now you wait for more dlc and to give away more money so you can rinse and repeat your frustration like a mechanic in a boss fight. I'm salty, sure, I think I put enough time in to be salty at seeing a game I loved get a massive overhaul which all but destroyed it. If you still love the game, more power to you. I,however, am tired backing a company which lost its vision and respect for its players. Peace.

7. No game stays fun forever, and I have played Destiny alot. I especially enjoyed the journey to 300 light. Playing much less now which is a good tbh. Hope there is a good dlc in the works.

6. This game has sooo much potential. The gameplay and concept is good. It's just the decision making and execution behind everything has been horrible! It feels like they don't have a plan. Imagine if Bungie waited just one year to drop this game. What if this game came out this past September and it had ALL the stuff we had in the past and now combined..imagine if we got VoG, CE, PoE, and Oryx, allof the strikes, all of the weapons, all of the pvp modes and lvls, all the events, everything, imagine if we got it all at once in one game....OMFG THIS GAME WOULD'VE BEEN AMAZING! All they had to do was wait ONE YEAR and not be greedy bastards, that wanted to stretch it out into 3 expansions.

started out fantastic, but not long after it seems most have hit a brick wall in progression. And even better they stated we would get smart loot, which would make it so that you wouldn't get the same shit over and over. Well that might have been possible had they not time gated so much of the gear. And the fact exotics, raid gear, and Iron Banner isn't even set to even close to maxed out level.

The content was far too minimal. Yet another bungievision rip off. If they ever want to make destiny at least decent, they'd have to kill the game and completely rethink what a decent game looks like and stop modeling their game after world of virgincraft
