Hi Guys. I have three characters (290, 297 and 296). I play destiny occasionally (because work and family) and until now, I did not had the time to do the new raid. It appears to be too long to complete. Both VOG and Crota's End were ok in terms of duration, but this new one, from what I hear, seems to take too long for non hardcore players. But I would like to raise my light level above the aforementioned above.... Is there a way to do so without doing the raid (doing vanguard strikes, quests, Knightfalls, etc...)?
Thanks.

From 290-300 light 310 is ambitious. Raid doesn't take long I did hard mode from beginning to oryx in 1 hour and 15 minutes or so. That's not long, if you do that much of the raid your light will go 300+ then when 305+ start thinking about hard mode for 310+ light.

1 ReplyEdited by Vano F5: 11/16/2015 3:23:38 PMHey bro, you seem like a nice guy. If your on Xbox One add me as Vano F5 and I'll help you raid so you can get some good quality gear and if you are a good crucible player challenge me and beat me in 3 rounds of rumble and I'll let you into our clan. After that we can do Trials of Osiris and get some awesome gear.

You get rewards at 5 different checkpoints throughout the raid. If you only have limited time, just do one of two parts of the raid per session. It will save your progress and you can do more at a later date.

It's a pipe dream. Possible. But for sure not worth the time and effort when you could just learn the raid and get good at it.
