It does have dedicated servers actually. I havent experienced one bit of lag since launch

Those dedicated servers could use some work. I've had pretty bad lag playing Black Ops III.
-
Have you got an open NAT type?
-
It seems to vary between open and "medium". Regardless, I don't have connection issues on any other game that I play, but Black Ops III has been giving me a lot of trouble.
-
Yeah it needs to be on open. Log into your router, turn on UpNP, use a wired connection. A good connection is really important in this cod unlike the older ones.
-
So you are saying I'm lying about experiencing the lag I have experienced? I recorded a game clip on Xbox live of an example of lag. It's nothing like Halo 5's dedicated servers if BO3 has any.
-
Im not saying that ur lying about ur lag, im saying that there actually are dedicated servers
-
How many? Because there is clearly a lot of player to player connections.
-
They've dedicated servers all over the world. Check the black ops 3 forum, you will see the location's in one of the threads...
-
So then why does my connection keep getting interrupted when my NAT type is open?
-
Are you running torrents/downloading while playing?
-
No, I'm on xbox
-
It's something to do with your connection. Wifi or wired?
-
I told you my NAT type is open!
-
Never answered the question...
-
What difference does it make?
-
Dont know how many, but in the menu, it shows that im connected to a server around the georgia area. It even shows my ping and the strength of the connection to the server
