EDIT 2: This is a cry nerf post because, knowing like most of us do, that the Titan sun breaker is being nerfed, this is my idea of how it could easily be done. Ergo, cry nerf post -_- brilliant, idea for something that's already being done is me going; sun breakers too powerful all I do is get killed by it bungie get rid of it now! -_- can't have a reasonable conversation with any form of common sense on here lol
4 hammer maximum...that's all in needs and brings it in line with golden gun max shots.

Edit: Love how people think this is a cry nerf post. Ive been here since day 1, ive played as a blade at its height, gunslinger for cheap round wins in trials, sunslinger for clutch wins, stormcaller just to chain close teams, sunbreaker now for its height as my main.
All i said is that its going to get nerfed, but people are comming up with such ridiculous clauses to make it equal to the rest of the supers. Easy solution 4 hammer maximum thats it.
If you want to be a titan fanboy and cry oh its unfair its fine ill prove a point. Best case scenario for killing....Control, your whole team has left, your 1v6, have your super and the enemy team is dancing on B. (Remembering this is best case scenario) Hunter, Blade - you can rush in kill all 6, your supers finished. Gunslinger - with over penetration on you can mop up 6 without missing a bullet if your incrediably lucky (again best case scenario) nightstalker - you can tether all and kill all easy with the damage buff. So average hunter kills on all supers in best case, 6. Warlock, Stormcaller - wipe all 6 plus you have about 1/4 super left, betime you find the spawn point its over. Sunslinger - you chuck grenades, rush the remaining with melee you can get 6 down as a stuck grenade or 2 can easily wipe out 3/4. Voidwalker - again easy single hit 6 kill. Titan, Striker - same as void walker. Defender, in essence same as sunslinger just bubble on, armor buff and shotgun everyone in sight. Sunbreaker - 1 hammer wipes all team, 6 hammers remaining with 30 odd seconds to go to spawns, wipe team again and if you get double kills still have 1 hammer remaining -_- If your trying to tell people its not overpowered WITH the health buff then you are delusional because the potential for it is ridiculous.
YES these are worked on best case scenarios but its to illustrate the point of how far apart sunbreaker is from the rest in terms of its potential.
YES like i already said ive mained a titan for crucible since TTK came out so titan fanboys lets have some common sense rather than whining bloody murder because you dont want a OP super taken from you.
YES this is NOT a crybaby post its simply a point of all the titan needs is 4 hammers and it would be fine.

This fix doesn't help because it still doesn't allow for an easier counter, just means the pain lasts a bit less time and they possibly don't get as many kills. It's not like I ever got 7 kills in one super in pvp (I play Titan) Also this means that the hammer will be pretty crap in pve.

2 RepliesPeople need to stop complaining about supers in PvP. They're designed with PvE in mind not crucible. And yes I main a titan and a hunter. HoS is great for when I play solo and saves my butt. I think it's okay in crucible. People are starting to figure out how to deal with it. How about we just eliminate supers from PvP and make it just about gun skill? That's a better solution.

6 RepliesHorrible idea. Hunter's can wear an exotic that gives them 4 shots. Their shots are instant, no travel time. And have insane aim assist. Hammers are slow and have mild tracking. And you want to reduce it down to 4....? Sounds like a great way to make Titans [b][u]110% irrelevant AGAIN.[/u][/b] Your "easy" fix is total ass. You want an easy fix? -Reduce Damage Resistance to be on par with other damage resisting supers -Put Cauterize on a cooldown timer

4 RepliesRead up to 4 hammer maximum, already wanna stop you there, Titan is a tanks class, why are we asking for a tank to not be a tank? But that being said what tank can keypads into the air and shoot from above? Probably already see where I'm going with this but the damage it pumps out is solid and should stay, just it's mobility should be nerfed, Titan while hammer is up should be able to walk..... Not run.... Not fly..... Easy fix, you can outrun the tank in stead of be chased down by it

So should we be asking to have hunter slowed down so they are easy to hit. Titans are tanks and slow. Just run away that's what I do.

I usually only throw 4 hammers anyway however if I could only throw 4 I'd probably only be able to throw 2 before the time runs out. You only get max hammers if you spam them.

1 ReplyJust bring forward the amermentarium to year 2 ! Simple fix and not many Titans using sol . I much prefer the striker Titan with dual lightning grenades that recharge more than a super does .

It's a cry for nerf post. [/u][/b][/quote] Basically you want to destroy the super completely. All that it needs is a 5% armor reduction and a cauterize cooldown. If you main a Titan, you know how inaccurate hammers are and how hard it is to hit an arial target, so reducing hammers =\= bringing it to GG level.
