Says the bandit on his knees, trying to get the rope off of his wrists. Kent gives him a sharp look, "[i]BETTER[/i]!? The Golden City was never [i]better[/i]! Everything was still going to shit before I showed up!" "But this city was-" "THIS CITY WAS A GODDAMN DRIED PILE OF TINDER! ALL IT -blam!-ING NEEDED WAS A LITTLE SPARK!" Kent says interrupting the bandit, his face red from anger and irritation, "You know what? I'm sick of you idiotic "bandits"." [i]Kent pulls out a 44. Magnum and shoves the barrel inside the bandit's mouth, he pulls the hammer back, "Got anything to say before I blow your brains out the back of your head?" The bandit struggles to speak with the barrel in his mouth, "No? Alright." Kent pulls the trigger without any hesitation, the bandit's brains coming out from the back of his skull, along with a burst of blood. He turns around. Four more bandits are knelt down on the ground with sacks on their heads. Kent walks up to one, puts a grenade in his hands, then grabs a canister of gasoline and pours it all over the bandits. Kent pulls out a lighter, then walks away a couple feet, and tosses the lighter on the man with the grenade. The fire consumes the men, their screams muffled by the sacks on their heads. The grenade the one bandit was holding goes off blowing up the burning men, stopping their suffering. Except for one, who is still on fire, but is also missing an arm. He slowly burns while bleeding out at the same time. Kent activates his jet pack and propels himself onto a roof, the thuds from his boots fade into the distance.[/i] [spoiler]Part 2 for Devante will be up soon.[/spoiler]
