Just upgrade you're favorite weapons. Do strikes and Court of Oryx to level up you're light. Pop some 3 of coins and do the Raid. You'll get there

Thanks! I'm still curious about the Monte Carlo. And what's the best way to get legendary marks? And lastly, which subclass should I go with? I'm using storm caller because the impossible machines give a perk that unlocks landfall for free so u can have two from that row equipped. Thanks again!

Monte Carlo is a good auto rifle, but there are better exotic main weapon out there. I wouldn't waste 150 marks on a blueprint, just save the gun for Crucible or Legacy strikes. Join one of the Factions and do as many bounties each session as you can to level up with them and the Vanguard at the same time. Dead Orbit's scout rifle Hung Jury is arguably the best Legendary primary in the game atm, but you need to be with them to get it.

Btw the subclasses or caracters depends on your playstyle i guess. Ive all 3 of them. For me in personal, Warlock masterrace. But the Hunter is quite fun as well.

Marks you get from dailey stuff. And dismanteling legendary gear n weapons you dont need. Some TTk story misions give you marks as well. I do like the Monte Carlo, its fun to use in Crucible. But it is outclassed by a lot of other guns
