"Must have flawless to go flawless."
Umm... okay, but how do you expect me to go flawless when every single person demands that I have gone flawless before? It doesn't make any sense.

People are stupid. An Irish buddy and I used to do our best to get people to the lighthouse in Year 1. I'm only a mid 30 DTR score in ToO and he's up to the 40's now. Whenever we would try and go flawless, we had a couple guys we would group up with. After flawless, we would normally help people. Granted, I found out that if the person you're helping is somewhat adept in PvP, it usually went much more smoothly than if the person seemed to be playing with their feet. TLDR: people usually want "experienced" players so that it takes some of the pressure off of them to perform at a high end for extended periods of time. Everyone has those games where they carry and get carried.

1 ReplyBecause by now, most players who are skilled enough to get flawless (not carried) already have done so. Personally, I don't care if you have the emblem or not. In fact, most people who post about having the emblem are at the lower end of the skill scale so to speak. I always search for people of a similar skill level. I look at overall k/d, trials k/d, trials win %, combat rating, etc. I believe this is a more appropriate way to form lfg teams, since it will result in a team whose skill is balanced without having anyone carry someone else. For me, that unfortunately limits my potential teammates to ~1% of the playerbase, but it does mean that when I do find a team, we destroy the competition. Judging by your stats, you're probably top 20% or something, so there are plenty of potential teammates. So just go for it, make a post requesting ~1.3+ k/d, take a look at the stats of people who reply (because ppl usually lie), and have fun with trials.

1 ReplyMust be 320 light Must have pre nerf Thorn Must have 15.00 KD Must have broken mic Must have working mic Must play COD

Sadly that's how this community is and people wonder why Destiny is on the decline...

Those LFG posts decoded- I need people to carry me or I want to do little work as possible while claiming i did my fair share. Seriously better to just keep looking. IF nothing good comes try and find like minded people who are in the same boat. Practice with them and try flawless with them. Those people who post that are the ones that will be volatile and boot at the first sign of struggle.

2 RepliesThat makes me think of the must have touch of malice one I saw...for normal raid.

1 Replyoh my, you are one sad human. just stop crying and sell your game. it seems like you spend more time crying on the forums than you actually spend playing the game. you need some friends man.

I just need a team to do it with. I can generally hold my own but I'm no god. On bf4 that's a different story. There nothing like shutting down someone on there with my phantom bow. Lol

Uber ridiculous. I recruit anyone and everyone when I'm searching. Unless you have the light level of a pineapple (meaning you're at least close to recommended) I'll take anyone through stuff. <.< some people are lazzzzzzy

3 RepliesLFG sites have no logic. From what I've seen, most of them are little squeak ers that just want to be carried thru whatever they're doing. I've joined raid groups where the team leader didn't have ANY of the crap he was "requiring". I promptly leave when I find crap like this.

2 RepliesYou're preaching to the choir.
