Forwarding VS Unblocking
When ever I log into my characters on Destiny I get a Strict NAT error. I get Weasel disconnect errors a lot. So I went through the Portforward.com guide for my ASUS RT-AC68U and Xbox One. After completing the guide I tested the ports and everything seems to be fine. But I still get the Strict NAT error when I log into Destiny.
I have a feeling my issue might have to do with the other table on the link above for bungie.net's portforwarding guide. Because the Portforward.com guide only deals with Forwarding ports table. However the other table on Bungie's site gives a list of ports that should be Unblocked. I haven't found any guide or information on how to Unblock ports. Can someone help me understand this?

2 RepliesHey I had an almost similar problem when I was first setting up my ps4. The router encryption type was set as wpa-aes. This was the default setting on my router. I had nat issues and I could barely stay connected to psn for a few minutes at a time. I switched the encryption type to wpa-tsk and I haven't had a problem since.
