The only pulse I use is bad juju. Other than that, scout rifles.

I still use tlw , it's pretty easy to outgun the pulses.

I'm using Monte Carlo on my hunter I'm sure not using a pulse on any character but I ordered the suros pulse from banshe to improve my gameplay

5 RepliesYup, my favourite weapon type has always been Pulse Rifles and they're finally in season. Now I understand that they're a tad bit stronger than most other types, but I can still counter them with Hawkmoon and any other Auto or Scout. Therefore, they are not overpowered.

Well let's see. They nerfed the entire Hand-Cannon class because of two out of control exotics. The Auto-Rifle boost just wasn't generous enough. And the Scout-Rifles have always been a tad too unforgiving with missed shots and lack of usefullness outside of long range. So that's why everyone is now running Pulse-Rifles. Not because they are overpowered as in my opinion they are actually perfect. They are however OP in the Nerf Gun like game Bungie seems us to want to play in. My opinion is give us back early Y1 Auto-Rifles, Hand-Cannons, and Fusion-Rifles, and slightly buff Scout-Rifle stability and impact. Tada, the perfect balance with more weapon choices than you can shake a stick at.

Every weapon archetype gets a time to shine in destiny. We've seen auto/ fusion and hand cannon/ shotgun. Now is the time of pulse rifle and sniper. Next will be scout and sidearm.

Ill say that i depends on the map but i have to admit that in this weeks trials 99% of the the ppl i met, including myself were using pulse.

It depended on the map but I switch from pulse rifles or scout rifles. Nerwins Mercy/Red Death to Jade Rabbit or Boolean :)

4 RepliesAll they need to do is fix the damage drop off for the range and make the impact stat actually reflect the true impact value of the weapon. You can get hit across the map with a pulse rifle that has little to no impact and it hits like a hammer. Shouldn't be that way. Other than this I think the weapons are fine.

There all hawksaw as well. I've tried everything but nothing beats it and it's not even fun too use.

I wish they would get down to the bones of all this bitching and nerf the player. Obviously another player cannot be better than I am and by K/D ratio is based off of over powered players using their toons to beat up on me. nerf the player base so we can all be the same .
