Pulse rifles have turned me away from pvp
There is no weapon blance in PVP any more. Pulse rifles kill from the longest distance with low range stats. Hand Cannons and auto rifle have about the same distance max damage as shotguns now days and its just not fun anymore. Does anyone else feel this way?

Not a satire post it genuinely is great fun, it'll give me a couple of weeks break from destiny, & the break help me re-discover what it is that I love about destiny.

2 RepliesTo me, pulse rifles are definitely "in" right now but other guns still match up if you use them right. I think it is slightly off balance but the weapons still have a good mix. I still see a lot of other weapon classes besides hand cannons but I'm very pleased with the weapons compared to previous updates.

Lol yep yet nobody in one of previous threads didn't think so. Look at you dummies now. They nerfed the hell out of hand cannons and then a new nuisance emerges, the pr.... Ever since ttk launched I said pr will be the new and improved fad. Yet in my thread almost everyone said that ttk has been the most diverse in weapons, that is until people figured out that pr's is the best primary you can equip for pvp. Keep complaining, they'll nerf pr and then you'll be begging to nerf scouts next. Damn pvp pansies. So many $hi+ stacks in here flapping their sausage lips and baby tears ruining the game for everyone else...

Pulse rifles are just the best choice. You can use other guns just fine, but there's no reason to.

7 RepliesHardly anyone I play against is even skilled enough to use a primary. It's all shotguns and snipers, as it always has been. And you could just use. Pulse rifle yourself.

If Scout rifles and auto rifles both had a slight damage increase and pulse rifles had a slight nerf to range, everything would be much better. There are already good exotic hand cannons that can compete in crucible.

I thought pvp was a lot more interesting in y1. All they have to do is buff hc and autos and nerf sun breakers and crucible will be more competitive again.

Scout rifles are just as good. You just have to be able to aim... Some handcannons are good, but very roll dependant. ARs could use a slight buff. Besides that pretty balanced.

I prefer the days when auto rifles ruled. Pulse is cool just wish the TTK was slightly lower or smaller mags.

Pulse rifles were even better before TTK by the way Maybe just maybe burst fire weapons with more manageable recoil allow people to align shots better than holding down the trigger and spraying all over the place and thus they enjoy more success with them In an FPS game the AR does not have to be the undisputed king...

Played with TLW in a few games yesterday. Did quite well with it actually, one game was 22-2 in rumble, which is outstanding by my standards. Still a vaible gun. Hawkmoon isn't bad either. I like a couple of the autos I have, but they need the right perks to be competitive (rangefinder + range and stability boost + persistence is the best combo I've found). The scouts have more range than the pulse rifles, and can kill almost as fast. The pulse rifles are better on average for sure, but they're not the only good weapons. Still, there's definitely a nerf coming to them, my guess is it'll come in December or January. Soon the age of the scout rifle will be upon us. It would be wise to get some good ones now.
